We are working on an SP now which addresses the issues with the variables and also fully documents them as well.

#1 - Kiwi is apart of SolarWinds, not sure if that help internally politically #2 - if you want, you can sync with customer service to see if you can re-up #3 - Don't disagree, we are cranking through stuff as fast as we humanly can to add new features, enhance existing features etc. This is something we have on our list,…

You may also want to check this out from a recent acquisition we made http://www.tek-tools.com/storage/overview.php

Can you please open a support ticket so we can look into?
-
And you have applied SP1? How many wireless devices do you have? Thick AP's, Controllers and Thin AP's?
-
Yes, you can define custom fields at the IP, Subnet, Supernet and Cateogry level. Let me contact you offline to talk back and forth further on what you are looking to do and where IPAM can help
-
If you are within a subnet and viewing the IP's currently defined within that subnet, on the top toolbar, there is a button labeled IP Range. If you select that button in the drop down is add or delete. So if you were to checkbox the IP's within that /16 you do not care about scanning and managing and select delete, those…

Sorry you got some bad info, we are looking to address, but it did not make it into SP1
-
This depends on a ton of factors. Do you have any other modules? You would need the DB off on another box for sure.
-
No this is still on the list to get done
-
An unofficial code drop, meaning, likely we cannot reproduce an issue in house so we do a buddy drop to validate the fix before turning into a hotfix or rolling into the next release. Also we have an RC about to start, so feel free to contact support and inquire.
-
At this point I would recommend a support call to get more research done
-
Do you have AD in your environment? Would it be accceptable in a future release if we introduce native AD support and AD has the ability to integrate with TACACS. I have added you to the enhancement request
-
Just double checked and yes it should
-
What SP are you on? Also, NPM 9.5 is out too
-
The list of enhancements? Still in progress, what we are able to do and you may have seen on some forum boards on thwack is threads called in case you are curious as to what we are working on, see here for an example

NPM 10.1 contains Atlas 1.3.0.106 NPM 10.1.1 contains Atlas 1.4.0.8 NPM 10.1.2 contains Atlas 1.5.0.45

I have logged an item in our system on this device, however, you can create a UnDP to poll these items as well
-
RodH, in the Orion web console if you go to Admin/Settings, web console settings what do you have set for status rollup mode?
-
Ah ok, you may still want to do a MIB Walk of the node and see if you can get the data you are looking for and if so, create a UnDP
-
This is a pretty old thread, what version are you on? I am not aware of these types of issues anymore.
-
Cool, got it and appended you to the request
-
Item # 10 is slated for the next release.
-
This will need to be converted into SQL as this is written in our query language SWQL. You can recognize virtual devices by searching VIM table VirtualMachines or via well known MAC addresses. DECLARE @nodeId AS INTSET @nodeId = 1 ;WITH RESAS( SELECT [T1].[NodeID] AS NodeID, N'H' AS NodeType FROM…

The MIB.cfg DB you download from support is for UnDP and SNMP Traps to leverage. The discovery DB is where all this information lives to determine what a device is and if it does not exist there, it shows up as unknown. I believe it uses this DB - SWDiscovery.cfg. Yes currently one must wait for us to add it to this DB.
-
9.5 has the changes in the discovery engine, not SP5. Let's see what support says
