The MIB.cfg DB you download from support is for UnDP and SNMP Traps to leverage. The discovery DB is where all this information lives to determine what a device is and if it does not exist there, it shows up as unknown. I believe it uses this DB - SWDiscovery.cfg. Yes currently one must wait for us to add it to this DB.

9.5 has the changes in the discovery engine, not SP5. Let's see what support says
