We are looking to address this in an upcoming SP, cannot tell you which one yet, still working that out
-
When did you download and install the evaluation version? We updated the eval with SP3 when we released SP3
-
Not saying this is a perm workaround, but might do to hold you over, see here
-
Nothing I can openly commit to at this point in time. You saw my other post of what we are currently working on. When we finish that I will update with the next set of items we are working on.
-
We have a hotfix in support would should resolve your issue. You will need to upgrade to 10.1.1, which you can also get from them.
-
We have an RC for an SP which should help this out. If this is still a problem for you then open a support ticket.

Yep, sounds good. Norton is a new PM here at SolarWinds and will be taking Syslog over from me as Product Manager in due time.
-
As VMWare dropped/broke their SNMP support in ESX/vSpehere 4.0 that we used for ESX 3.5, we must now gather this data via other methods. We are actively working on solving this issue and hope to resolve it in the next release.

Dagwood, did you apply the 10.1.1 Service Release which got released last night that I posted the details about this morning on?
-
What version?
-
You don't need to load the MIB, if you have the OID just copy it in, select and device and test
-
Fair enough, was worth a try on that workaround. This is in our tracking system and we have it on our list for next release to look to formally address
-
We added a new feature in v10 for SNMP traps which allows you to define an action to change the status of an interface that was done exactly for this use case.
-
Soon, let me check on the latest with Dev and ping you offline with more details.

Dal, you may have talked to me as I was at that show. The main issue at heart here is if we ship an out of the box integration with Google Maps, the Google Terms of Service allow individual users to use the API for free, but if you ship with with a for sale product, you must pay Google a fee for this. Many users if you…

I will contact you offline now

Please open a support case so we can dig into why you are getting that error

I am not going to say yes cause I do not know all the specifics of the issues you are seeing, but it does address a critical issue and I would recommend it. This hotfix fixes a memory leak related to both the SolarWinds Job Engine and the SolarWinds Orion Module Engine that required a regular restart of both services to…

Got and I see the value in both. "Scheduled Discovery" is something high on our priority list. Do you typically see hardware changes more on the network side or the server side? Meaning you care more about new cards etc in routers, switches etc. or server or equally?
-
Have you seen this here
-
So you want to add your own tabs/label section like we use for modules? The links in the nav bar not working?
-
Do you have a support case open for this issue? If not, please open one.
-
OK, this data helps thank you for that and for being patient while we work on getting you fixed up. I am looking up your history now and will get back with you.
-
Please open a support ticket so we can investigate further and see what is going on.
-
What are you looking for specifically? The one from our lab is pretty long as we have it setup for various testing scenarios
-
There are alot of factors to consider here. * How many flows per second with NTA? * Are you polling at default polling intervals for NPM? * How many component monitors do you anticipate with APM? If you want to ensure you have some room for comfort and growth, here are some numbers to considerOrion Server + Modules* Quad…

Doh sorry about that here you go

I would love to be able to get on a web conference with ya'll sometime soon and chat about this further, so we can learn and see exactly the problems and then work on those. Let me know if this is something you are open to.
