Yes you can, check out this post I think it should help
-
No you cannot edit the items we show currently. What you can do is for maps only, not the other hover overs you can extend them, see my post here
-
What version are you currently on?
-
Did you also recently upgrade the ESX version?
-
Do you have a support ticket open on this issue?
-
After you add them, you can go in and choose to not monitor the interfaces the Thin AP's are connected to.
-
I assume you mean more of just a general audit trail log and not specific to System Management, more just to the Orion application? This is an item we already have logged into the system
-
You should be able to create a custom view with the OOTB view you want on it and for the ones we don't have create custom HTML views
-
In the additional components section of the customer portal is a windows event forwarder, which forwards events to the Orion Syslog server, which you could then create alerts against, have you seen that?
-
I just responded to your same question in another post on this one.
-
If you have not already, I would recommend applying SP2 to see if that helps. We also have some map rollup issues we are currently working on addressing in the next SP
-
Haven't seen this one before Jeff, are you on SP2? When did you start seeing this error? If you try to browse to the path manually does it work?
-
Have you checked out the content exchange to see if someone else has created this report?
-
I believe the NCM Syslog server is only needed if you want real time change detection
-
I will let others chime in here as well, but a couple things to start with. Make sure your DB is backed up, the maps now live in the DB as well with 9.5. You will want to back up the reports folder on the file system and also you can run the Web Configuration Backup utility we ship with under Advanced Features
-
No you are not doing anything wrong, we spoke with VMWare and this is a defect on their side. We pull the status from their API. You would have to ping them on when they plan to address.
-
That is odd. We may need to look into this. So to define what a transient IP means. An IP is responding to a scan for the last week and is currently set to Used. On the next scan, nothing no longer responds on that IP. So instead of marking it as now Available we place this into a Transient state. By default, which can be…

You cannot currently customize the columns within alerts in the web console. Have you looked at the system events?
-
Eric, Let me not beat around the bush, System Manager is not coming back. In fact, it is the opposite, it will ultimately go away. See this post I did for more background, but I will also take some time to explain here. So why are we doing this? Because I am an evil evil man? No, I do not get pleasure of seeing you angry…

So right now we do not have the ability to add a set of seed devices and pull a list of subnets from those seeds, this is something on our enhancement list for the future. Since you go have toolset, you can import that directly into IPAM via a utility we have so you do not lose the work you have done. We have also just…

The server is how we authenticate the license for that user logging in is valid and good, so not possible. How often would the central server be offline?
-
This might be a decent read too here
-
You can try re-running the configuration wizard, but best bet would be a support ticket to investigate further.
-
I don't have a 9.1 install handy, but I don't think so unless you create a report. In NPM 10.1 you can do all of this.
-
Something like this?
-
Check out this page and I believe this should help give you what you need - Customize the Web Help Desk GUI language and labels - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support
-
Is any of this data exposed via SNMP in their MIB?
-
Good feedback, in 9.5 we did add trending to the charts/graphs, but it has to be created manually, not sure if you have seen it
-
Are you running putty or some other third party telnet client or using the Windows client from the cli? On 2008 you have to enable it, which you may have already done, see here
-
We have a Foundry in our lab and it works just fine. Sound like your view might be restricting his setup or the acl is effecting the sweep. You might want to try:-start with v1 no acl -then you know that the system has the mibs straight-add v3 on the system and check without acl -if this doesn’t work it probably v3 config…
