For the web console, that is correct, there are only two groups today. There is also a win32 based client on the server you installed as well. If they are in the normal users group, they won't see the admin tab in the web console.

Please see this thread here

Yes it uses a SQL CE DB for web access. It has a size maximum of 4GB and then after that messages are deleted/pushed out as new ones come in. We have an open enhancement request to give users more control and access over that DB
-
I will log this, but would you also mind, if you have not already, posting the UnDP to the Content Section?
-
I would recommend opening a support ticket if you have not already
-
See here which is the content of the readme
-
See here on what's next for Orion and the modules We are investigating some options on a voting system, stay tuned on that topic.
-
So no additional modules or do you plan to add any in the future so we can recommend for future growth. Also we recommend that you do not put SQL on the same box as Orion, SQL can be quite intensive and a memory hog
-
Have you read this, starting at page 45
-
I have not heard of this one before, please open a support ticket so support can assist in getting this resolved
-
How often are you seeing these entries on your VPM Concentrator? It could very well be the toolset IP Address Manager, default 'public' is populated OOTB, if go to the IP Address Manager and select Settings, the first tab will have SNMP Community Strings and whether or not the tool should use SNMP or not.
-
Are you running any other modules on top of Orion NPM?
-
Is this in the web console? If you edit the map resource you can set the scale or size range. Could be someone is going in there besides you and changing this value?
-
No once you delete the node or item out of the system, it is gone.
-
Someone in the community might be able to help you with the query, but the data is there in the system
-
That is odd, that should have worked. Add/Remove Programs always works for me when I am adding and removing new builds from development and stuff. Did you get any errors when you tried from here?
-
Let us know if what borgan suggessted works for you. We put this in place since Network Atlas can now be downloaded from Orion and run from any desktop and we didn't want just any Orion user to be able to go in there and muck around on the maps.
-
Can you shed more light, which code?
-
I have not seen that error before, best bet to get resolution is going to be a support ticket
-
Is it an option for you to use Window Pass-thru, see page 308 of the Admin Guide here for more info
-
You may also want to look at the Universal Device Poller
-
Have you looked in Admin -> Customize Menu Bar where you can create a new one and then associate that to the users account?
-
What version do you currently have installed and running?
-
Can you explain more what you need. What MIB value? Do you have a UnDP created?
-
We can do the weather map stuff, you can specify a dynamic background. See here
-
Are there any errors in the Windows Event log? What processes are consuming your box? Video did not help out much.
-
If those values are exposed via SNMP you can gather them with a UnDP. Also, do you own APM?
-
Spiky, what version are you on? In 10.1.1 we made some additional tweaks to performance for maps. Also, do you have real time anti-virus scanning on the Orion server? If yes, the exclude the inetpub directory. Also with 10.0 there is a setting if you edit the map to show cache version of map till new map is ready
-
What version are you currently running on?
-
What version are you on? We had a defect in 10.0 I believe where we would show events even for removed elements. This was fixed in a future version.
