Did you just edit the resource within the web console and remove the name there?
-
So you created the custom property correct? Did you then use the Account Limitation Builder?
-
Can you provide more data around what you want to see. Are you just looking to group by node status?
-
I can't give you a specific date, but soon. We are currently in an RC state, if you want the RC, send me a private message with your SWID
-
Fair enough, I will make sure it gets logged
-
So what are you interested in gathering from the controller? Just basic info on the physical interfaces?
-
Can't explain, have not heard this, best bet is to open a ticket on
-
Good to hear. The syntax is very similar between the two.

John, Orion assumes each node has it's own unique IP Address in the system. I am not familar with the Nomadix. Is there any way to configure the Nomadix to use a set of different IP's? Even if the snmp forwarder is listening on every IP address, this will give you a set of aliases he can use with Orion.

If you are on NPM 10.1 or above why not use the new custom object resource. This feature was meant to alleviate the need to use custom HTML resources for many use cases.
-
It should be working like that. I will file a defect so it can be looked at
-
Have you reviewed the various documentation items available on our website here
-
And to be clear, 2008 is only supported with Orion NPM 9.5

Sorry for delay in response, but I do beleive you should be able to do what you are looking for using custom SQL within report writer without needing to store historical data for item #2
-
I would like to discuss this some more. So why is the web console limiting in your opinion? We made some changes in 9.5 SP4 which should help make the web node management better and will continue to work on it. We have have multiple conversations on this topic here on thwack, see here for one of those threads.
-
Yes you will need to
-
You would have to create that using a custom html resource
-
Makes complete sense, I will file those into the system
-
Why is it hit and miss and unreliable? What modules do you own?
-
You will need to create a Universal Device Poller
-
Can you provide more data, what type of hosts are these happening on?
-
Yes, this should work, what version are you running?
-
Definitely recommend a support case to investigate further. Are you guys using the mirror driver in the agent?
-
So which do you want to modify, the toolset right click? If you find the file SWToolset.MenuOptions, for example, mine is located at C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Common you can edit this and add items to the toolset right click
-
Understood, this is something we have on our to do list, but no time frames I can commit to.

Do you prefer any easier method to get at the graphs without having to drill into each one individually?
-
Even with the bulk upload feature?

If you want to resize all the network objects in a map at once, here is one method to do that. In Map Maker open the map you wish to update and in the menu bar select Edit -> Select All Network Objects. Now in the upper right hand corner of the Map Maker UI there are two text boxes with an X in between them. Specify the…

Are these DHCP nodes? When you add them, why not select the check box as Dynamic Node
