See page 20 of the NPM Admin Guide here Enabling Secure Channels with SSL Orion NPM supports the use of Secure Sockets Layer certificates to enable secure communications with the Orion Web Console. The following procedure enables SSL connections to the Orion Web Console. Notes: Secure SSL communications are conducted over…

If you go to the Settings Page -> Network Performance Monitor Thresholds, under here you will see the value for Error and Warning for Interface Errors and Discards
-
Wow that is an old old version. Current Kiwi version is 9.1. Any chance you can go up to a newer version?
-
Can you elaborate further. Orion NPM already supports Cisco Wireless Controllers, including the ability to pull the Thin AP's and their status as well as connected clients. If you want to monitor them outside the controller, you can add them as ICMP only nodes into Orion.
-
With 10.1 we can poll via vCenter directly now instead of going to each ESX host itself. If you add the vCenter server, what happens? Check out this blog for more info on how it should look
-
Currently today, the latter in your statement
-
Scott, I am checking into this with the R&D team and I will get back to you on this.
-
Not sure I am following you 100%. If you just want up/down status for a node via ICMP/Ping you can add/edit a node and select the checkbox for ICMP Polling only. You won't get SNMP stats without SNMP like interfaces, volumes etc.

This has been an ongoing discussion, please see this thread - ?PageIndex=1

Are you running 10.1 or 10.0 SP1?

Product Manager here for ipMonitor. I am actually working with Dev right now on the schedule for a service release of some enhancements and bug fixes, so stay tuned on that. I have been keeping and maintaining a list of enhancements, but what would you like to see added to the product personally?
-
Best path I can think to recommend is we have an Events report for IPAM we ship out of the box. You can take this report and tweak it to filter and view only the items you are concerned about. The view only shows top xx but the report can go against as many records as you want.
-
It depends on the type of device, is this Windows, Linux etc?
-
I would recommend a support ticket to investigate, but what language is the OS? Asking as I see this in the log you pasted - 没有启动服务器服务.
-
No, you cannot do this today in IPAM. IPAM has a set of roles so you can limit their actions or what they can do in the system against the entire system. You cannot currently restrict what they can and cannot see yet, this is an open enhancement request for a future release.

So if you add Applications by Current Status to your Network Summary Home page and then once you do that and are on Network Summary Home, edit that resource and you change the title and select all the check boxes except up. That will match what you are wanting.
-
Have you seen this thread, might be a decent starting place
-
Is this occuring with Thick/Autonomous AP's or with Controller/Thin AP's? Which vendor?
-
Can you post the make, model and SysOID's for them please and I will get it filed
-
I can't give you the exact date, currently we are in RC state. If you would like the RC, send me a private message and you can upgrade to that.
-
This is apart of the Orion NPM application. Depending on which version you are on, the tool has a different name. 9.1 and before = Map Maker and 9.5 = Network Atlas Open the app and you can import a background and then associate your nodes etc on the map and have submaps etc.
-
No, this is currently not something you can do today.
-
What specific data are you concerned about in the log files? There is no way I am aware of currently, however, since this is on the file system there are other methods available to secure Windows files, see here for a blog post I did on a similar topic for our Serv-U product.
-
What have you tried so far? Have you looked at the docs here, specifically if you go to Activities -> Creating Custom Activities.
-
Are your node down alerts working ok and this error is just in the logs?
-
Have you looked at our Application Performance Monitor product? In there we have a user experience monitor template which does the following: This template tests the ability of an FTP server to accept incoming sessions, process user logins, and then transmit the requested file. The component monitor performs an MD5…

No this is currently not support, but something we are looking at enabling in the future

First, unless you do something like swear or make an inappropriate joke or comment, we never delete or censor posts. It completely devalues the community. If you look up here at older posts, there are others in which folks are venting anger or frustration. Second, I am sorry to hear you have been having so many issues. I…

What version of Orion are you on? What does your defined limitation for this user look like?
