Can you post what you are seeing, having a tough time following what you are trying to do
-
haven't seen or heard this from anywhere else, may want to open a ticket so investigate.
-
Have you looked at this here?
-
These threads are correct. VMWare is no longer populating their MIB's as they did in ESX 3.5. To address this, we are going to have to change our method of getting to the data and use their API.
-
Make sense and good feedback. Remember though you can set a setting on the UnDP if it does not respond to a UnDP it will auto-hide itself.
-
Could you not create a new view with those three report and just specify that new view?
-
Have you read the NCM Admin Guide here If so, are you still having a problem?
-
It sounds like the device is not responding with any values, which is why you are seeing the behavior in Orion. If it doesn't give us any values then there is nothing for us to report/show. Are you able to confirm with your vendor that these MIB's are supported by them and they are using them?
-
Are these L2 or L3 devices? Are you using Network Sonar to gather the topology data?
-
Hard to diagnose this on thwack without any error messages etc. Best bet is going to be to open a support ticket so one of the reps can dig into
-
You need to put a case or call into Support and they can send you the appropriate download links you need.
-
Interesting, it should detect you are coming from a mobile browser and give you the mobile view. Regardless if you add ?ismobileview=true to the end of the URL you will get the mobile view
-
Just an oversight is all, our apologies, we were in a shift of product managers and this got missed. With that being said, we did send out a customer notification via email for the RC and GA and the team is already hard at work on the next set of updates.
-
Which mobile device, more specifically browser, are you using?
-
Not sure what that error is, best bet is to open a support ticket please
-
Have you seen this doc to see if it provides additional guidance
-
Hard to tell what is going on here, best bet is to open a support ticket please
-
#1 - DirtySouth is correct here for NPM #2 - Would like to see your answer to DirtySouth's question #3 - From a scale stand point no, but the Kiwi Syslog has some additional filtering, archiving, etc. functionality that Orion does not have #4 - DirthSouth is correct here as well
-
Thanks on the kudos and unfortunantly the answer is no, not today, but we can look to add that in the future.
-
This is coloring outside the lines and not supported and if you re-run the configuration wizard will get overwritten, but the tooltip data is parsed and transformed to the actual tooltips in a script on the website. Perhaps modifying the script would resolve this… Look for networkmap.js in the website directory.
-
Also what version of Orion? Worst case I would recommend opening a support ticket
-
LOL, nice screenshot. So what are you wanting to do, let me ask that. Those are Netflow charts and we have similar charts for ESX.
-
This is a known issue, please contact Support and get the fix for it
-
Have you checked out the Orion SDK? See here to download, but it allows you to pull whatever data you want out of Orion.
-
You may want to check out a new product we just released call the Orion Failover Engine. It covers Orions, but also additional pollers. See here for more info
-
I don't believe there is a way to do this today
-
So your parent is a group with Switch 1 and Switch 2 and the children are node 1 and node 2, is this correct?
-
You can do aggregates or sums of multiple interfaces right now across one or more devices in 10.1 with existing charts and data we gather. You can also put a UnDP assigned to multiple devices on a single chart as well. Agree we still have room to improve in this area, but this is what I could slide in based on the last…

Is NCM and NPM installed on the same box or different boxes? Are you inputting the IP of the NCM server or the hostname?
-
Interesting, what browser and browser version are you using?
