I would recommend a support ticket

When you upgrade they will be handled if they are Orion resources. If they are custom asp resources, then no they won't on upgrade as with 9.5 we ported the rest of the website over to asp.net
-
We will log this in, but you are able to edit right now via the file correct?
-
So noted, good feedback.
-
Can you provide more information, what version and SP level are you running?
-
Are those interfaces static or variable? If static you could create an advanced SQL report to pull these values and display them in a report.
-
Wow .net 2.0, may be time to upgrade to .net 3.5
-
No we do not censor or remove reviews unless there are curse words or off color remarks on them that could be offensive, however, if you look at NPM reviews there are good and bad up there. Please feel free to re-post if you feel the same way.
-
Can you provide more info? Are you just looking to see the util on the Orion server? You can add the local Orion server to NPM or if you have toolset, you can use that.
-
Do you own the Wireless Module or are you just trying to monitor it from Orion NPM?
-
We don’t like to make recommendations regarding another vendor’s licenses, but we can say that many users go for the 5-user CAL.

Date it the option you want

I talked to Dev and here are a couple ideas: You could set up net-snmp to proxy access to the EtherTek device. In the net-snmp config, have it return the bare-bones info like sysObjectID and proxy all the EtherTek-specific stuff.Or if you have APM, you could add the device to Orion as an ICMP node, then use APM to assign…

What did you look at this here?
-
Orion should be fine if you upgrade to SQL2005 SP2
-
Evaluation license is for 30 days for Orion. Are you starting a fresh database or want to point to the existing one? I think you are on the right track with this process. Use the eval, then park the production license and reactivate on new system.
-
You will need to create a Universal Device Poller, if you do not see one in the content exchange
-
I assume you are referring to the web console? Would AD work for you?
-
Export or pull a list together of the IP's you want to do a bulk association for. Create a new discovery profile, specify the community strings and on the next screen, select bulk upload or the third choice and you can copy and paste a list of IP's here

These are both known defects in the system we are looking into
-
What type of alert message do you want to send? You can setup a filter to look for the text you care about and then have an action to send an email for example with whatever text you want in it.
-
I would open a support ticket. However, you cannot add nodes via system manager you need to do this via the web console.
-
Templates are for APM, I assume you have APM?
-
Good feedback, this one is still on the list, just cranking through them as quick as we can.
-
How many of these devices do you have? One way to do this is within the Web Console go to Admin -> Manage Nodes -> Check the device that you want to change -> select Edit Properties and change the value under Name and click submit
-
You can add a node and select ICMP only monitoring in NPM. Using APM you can watch some websites for example as well. Can you expand further if I am not answering your question.
-
This is a known issue and you hit one of the workaround right on the head, we plan to address this in a future release.

I would open a ticket with Support

Hard to really tell, best bet to resolution is going to be to open a support ticket on this so we can investigate deeper.
