Might want to check this thread here, see if that helps steer you in the right direction

I would recommend to first start by looking on the VMWare site at the ESXi documentation, I don't know how to do this off the top of my head.
-
Any chance of upgrading to 9.5 and seeing if this issue still persists?
-
Are there any messages in the Windows Event logs indicating what the issue is? Do you have any other Syslog or trap servers running on the same box?
-
That version is no longer supported, any chance you can upgrade to a newer version of Orion?
-
You can change the group by to something where Unknown is not there anymore or use a custom property and then group by that
-
Yes this should work just fine
-
If you configure SNMP right off the bat, does it add duplicates? Best bet here is going to be a support case
-
Shouldn’t it be ${GroupName} – I think you are missing {}
-
What changed specifically? Can you elaborate on what is not working for you?
-
Contact your sales rep and they should be able to assist you in extending out the key
-
Hmmm not sure, recommend a support ticket to look into
-
If it's available via SNMP you could create a Universal Device Poller, tutorial located here Let me know if that work will for you or not
-
Is this on a specific device or any device? What browser and browser version are you using? Do you get any java script errors in the bottom left hand corner of the browser?
-
#1 they are processed in real-time so they are not stored anywhere #2 Syslog uses UDP which by definition is not guaranteed delivery. If the Syslog Server is not responding, it does not attempt to re-transmit or queue them up or anything like that, they are essentially dropped. #3 I don't have any data on this, as this can…

What are you wanting to monitor and gather? Our Storage Management product, Storage Profiler is working on adding support for that device in their next release, see here. If you are not familiar with it, you can read more about it here and check out the online demo.
-
What other variables have changes, did you add more elements? Is it a specific portion of the web or the whole console?
-
Are you looking for thin AP's or controllers or autonomous AP's? With 9.5, we ship some advanced alerts out of the box in advanced alerts around AP's you can use or use as a starting point to customize
-
Yes, we worked with the Nexus team and addressed the CPU/Memory item in NPM 10.0.
-
Great catches and we have had some of them reported in other posts and the appropriate defects have been logged into the system.
-
Support ticket might be the best bet at this point to investigate further.
-
Got it, you are right you cannot do this today. I will log an enhancement request.
-
Good feedback, since you have it logged as a support ticket, they got it logged as an enhancement request into our system for me to look at for a future release.
-
Here is a good post to read on the new features in 10.1 around this. We can poll either through vCenter or each ESX host individually. If you go through vCenter we pull the cluster and data center information as seen in the above post I referenced. All of the values and stats we pull can be alerted off of in the advanced…

We have been working with Cisco on interoperability testing with the Nexus product family and everything appears to work from a monitoring stand point, with the exception of CPU and Memory out of the box, however, a UnDP has been created, which you can find here
-
Good feedback, I will get an enhancement logged into the system
-
Check out the latest response on the thread you referenced as there is a new post I am not sure you have seen. One other option is you can click on a triggered alert in the web console and add notes to those triggered alerts. You can read more about that here in this post.

Good idea, I will get it logged
