I assume you attempted to install the Additional Web Server, correct? Best bet is to open a support ticket online to have them contact you tomorrow morning to call in the am to the support line
-
Not today, you will have to continue to convert the times and add 8 hours from your time, however, I will add this as something we can look to enhance to make it easier
-
No you shouldn't need to remove and re-add, it should pick up and updated list on the next poll. If it is not doing this, please open a support ticket.

Has anything changed recently besides upgrading, new IOS version etc.? Did you assign a device in the UnDP app and test to ensure it is validating and working that way?
-
So couple things, what is the latency on average on the WAN link? I am going to check into #1 further #2 how often is something like this going to occur? I assume this downtime is not scheduled? So tell me more about the other sites. Are they all over the world or what? Might be worthwhile to look at NPM at each site and…

So some devices with SNMPv3 work ok and others do not, is that correct?
-
We still reply on SNMP to gather interface, volume and ESX CPU/Memory in v10, so you will need to enable SNMP on the ESX box.
-
I assume you mean with Orion you are doing this correct? Are you just monitoring with SNMP or are you also specifying the VMWare API credential information?
-
In Alert Manager, in the top toolbar if you go to View -> Include in Alert View, what all is selected/checked?
-
All of this functionality has been duplicated in Web Node Management in 9.5, you can perform all of those functions from there
-
What problems are you encountering?
-
You can't change it today, but this is something we are looking to add in a future release
-
No you cannot do this in Orion today. You can add each individually or just monitor the VIP.
-
Fair enough feature request, I will log it into our system to look at for a future rev.
-
Go check out your Volumes Details view in the Admin section. I am guessing most likely you will have EnergyWise views on there, remove those and anything else that does not belong for Volumes and you should be good. We have an existing defect open on this that we are adding these items to this view
-
So you are saying the node shows up as Unknown, is that correct? If it is showing up as unknown then it sounds like either SNMP is not configured properly or SNMP is getting blocked somewhere along the way and we are just able tp ping it.
-
Here is a thread with some examples on .net here
-
Have you re-ran the configuration wizard? If you cannot resolve, best bet is to open a support case
-
Only to currently do this today is to add the thin AP's as ICMP only nodes, so they are objects in our system and then you can add them to maps
-
You are on the right path in working with support. If they cannot figure it out, then they will escalate to Development. We fixed many of the issues originally reported, but there may still be some out there.
-
I think what you are looking for is a container basically that you can add nodes, interfaces etc. into a common source and then add that to the map correct? If so, no you cannot do that today, you would need to create a sub-map
-
To make sure I understand you correctly, do you want them to have a customized Network Summary Home View then what we provide out of the box or do you want their initial page when a user logs in to point to a different view?
-
What other "sanctioned" wireless gear do you use within your environment? Cisco or Aruba Controllers?
-
Thanks for posting Derik, most of these are already on our list to add in a future release.
-
What version are you on?
-
Which page are you looking at?
-
This is on our roadmap, but no specific time line that I can publicly commit to at this point in time
-
I am running Orion NPM 9.1 SP4 and it is located at Program Files\Solarwinds\Common
-
No, I do not believe you can do this today. A workaround instead of just deleting and re-adding is to copy out the current values if you want to keep them, add the new field, paste in and delete the old
-
Understand the use case, this is part of something broader we have on our list of something to do. Basically the ability to define a template when you add a device it gets assigned these UnDP's, these custom properties, these credentials etc.
