We are getting this list directly from the controller, so if you update this on the controller, that should be reflected in Orion. Is this now what you are seeing?
-
Can you elaborate on this some more. What features are in Kiwi that are not in Orion you would like to see. Also elaborate on the real time item too.
-
Not via the command line, but you may want to look at this thread, may give you some other ideas/guidance
-
It is disregarded
-
Yep, we sure do, see here for more info
-
So with 10 we added scheduled discovery which will show you both for new nodes and existing nodes new interfaces/ports found for your use case. You may also want to check out some community content, see here and here for some examples
-
Can you be a little more specific as to what are you seeing and what the problem is?
-
Why not use web node management, you can update multiple nodes at once there.
-
There is no hard and fast rule here. It is going to depend on multiple factors. What type of hardware you have, how many smart groups you got, what type of monitors you have setup, WMI vs. SNMP etc.
-
You would need to upgrade Orion NPM from 9.0 to 9.1 SP5. How many IP's are you planning to manage?
-
Just download the evaluation for NPM and install it on top of APM. It will use the same DB and infrastructure already installed by APM.
-
What version and SP are you on? How many maps do you have?
-
This means you owned the old Wireless module and after upgrading to NPM 9.5 we have a migration process that migrates your old data over to the new data structure, but we decided instead of doing this all at once and to have minimal impact on your system, we migrate the data over slowly and as data migrates we populate…
-
We are focused right now on some customer fixes and bug fixes. Are there specific things you would like to see or are missing?
-
Maybe post to this thread here and see if someone can help
-
With NPM you should be able to find the data for the interfaces we manage. Also, check this post out, we are working on another product which would cover all ports and cover this use case as well
-
What version of Orion are you running? So you just want a method of finding all interfaces of a certain type already within Orion and quickly find them and delete correct?
-
Got it, thanks for the feedback, good stuff and makes sense
-
Why not create a new view with that chart on it and schedule it like shown here
-
What happens when you go to web node management?
-
I assume you have toolset installed on the box you want to run the integration from? In the browser you could get a popup to install the SW API.
-
We are aware of this issue and are looking to resolve it with an upcoming SP
-
Not out of the box, no, this matches the current status for that item, green for up, red for down, yellow for warning etc.
-
This is a known defect we are looking into
-
It sounds like it is trying to install the Engineers Toolset integration active-x component. For the account in question, go to the Admin section of the web console and in account management edit the account and ensure toolset integration is set to no or disabled. That should clear this up, if not let me know.
-
Hard to debug via thwack, since you are a new customer I would recommend opening a support ticket so we can investigate deeper.
-
Under File -> Setup in the main UI and once in the setup screen in Kiwi under Inputs, did you specify the 5 sources which Syslog traffic is coming from? The free version only accepts traffic from five IP sources. See here on the differences between free and paid version of Syslog.

Have you looked at the Netflow module?
-
I don't believe you can do this. You might be able to do a custom HTML resource.
