This sounds like a SQL Collation/Language issue. SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" and "Cyrillic_Ge Can you change this to English? Are you evaluating Orion or a customer?

So you can't create a dist-list on your email server? That would be the quickest and easiest method. Then you can add and remove people as you want to the list

RIght now you cannot have one central server talking to another. So if you wanted to move them to central server setup, then they would need to all be managed through one central server or you would need to deploy and manage two different ones.

NPM does not currently work with ESX 4.0. With 4.0, VMWare completely changed their SNMP implementation and not all of the MIB's that were supported previously with 3.5 are there anymore. We have opened defects/enhancements with VMWare on this already.

Can you not just go and edit the node details view and put everything back? Do you need to know what was there before?

I checked this out and it looks like the search does an exact search, if you insert wildcards *promise* you will get results

Regarding latency, I have heard of a few customers who have set up this way, however it is not recommended and you will experience problems most likely when you have spikes above 15ms

So you can't import from a text file, but using the web discovery you can copy and paste the IP's from the text file into the bulk upload.

Do you own APM? You may be able to do this with the script monitor there, I have seen other people on thwack write about doing that.

Do you truly want them at the group or at the node. If you were at a node details page or in a report would you want to see this value only at a group or at a node. I guess what I am getting at is if it were easier to make changes to custom properties in bulk or define template for nodes that auto populate custom…

Not currently, this is something we are looking at adding for a future rev. Can you expand on and tell me more about your environment? Do you have multiple Orions or multiple STM's?

You are spot on 2008 R2 is x64 only and we do support that. We also support Windows 2003 x32 and x64. What other questions do you have?
