As part of the due diligence, our CISO went on a site visit. They had none of this. The company worked out of a store front. No Generators, No bars, No Security…

I am convinced that if you have good customer service and run into a snag or take a little longer that the customer has a more pleased feeling than if you fix their problem, all the way, right a away, but with a bad attitude.

To your third point, I have a couple of co-workers who when we get together we get out about code, the latest class or method we discovered, the latest changes to powershell, etc. It is a true iron sharping iron, in the secular sense of the phrase.
