This weeks questions glitched out on me. I answered 3 quests then it showed next button and a blank screen. I reloaded and it said I already completed this survey. There were no spots to put my name down for points so I would like to know how to get credit/finish the questions and get credit fo rthis week.

Additional pollers are used to poll the nodes. The way mine are setup is that we have 1 primary poller which holds all the applications and thats it. Then we have several other servers which are called additional pollers. Thats where we assign the nodes to do the work from. If you only have 1 solarwinds server doing all…

If you go to the download page there should be a section for additional pollers. Its a single executable file that expands to multiple files. You install that on every additional poller you own for solarwinds.

I think they did some DB changes in 10.5 from 10.4 I am not 100% sure but that would cause an issue with somethings no longer working. Sometimes when they do version updates like 10.5 to 10.5.3 you might get away with just updating the primary poller and nothing else but there could be other issues where new features…

Since you confirmed triggered actions work can have the alert trigger when only volume percent used is greater than or equal to 85% and have nothing else in the trigger condition? or even knock the percent down a bit?
