Kurt, WMI will give you more complete Windows information.
-
If Kiwi Syslog is running as a service, restart the service and then test to make sure it is still listening on port 514.
-
Thank you. We have a hotfix for Kiwi Syslog (9.4.1) running on Windows Server 2012 R2. I have seen where multiple process of the task engine can be started.
-
I would see about getting someone to disable your Anti-virus software.

Richard, In NTM, click Help\Support Tools\Grab SNMPWALK. Enter the IP address of one of your nodes with the correct community string, and click Scan. Do you see any LLDP info in the walk?
-
Ron, IpMonitor is still being developed, and new features are being added.
-
There should be a hotfix available in your customer portal.

What communication type are you using (SNMP, RPC, or WMI)? Please let me know.
-
Eric what operating system is Kiwi Syslog installed on?
-
SOAP is no longer supported in the later versions of ipMonitor.
-
Tam, Thank you for letting us know.
-
Susan, Are you seeing any errors in the Windows event logs?

The best way to do this is to create a smart group and add all of the monitors to it. Next you can delete the monitors, and make sure remove from group is selected.

Peter, 1. On most Cisco devices both the TFTP and show commands mu be run from enable mode. If CatTools cannot enter enable mode, the command will fail 2. If the account CatTools is using goes straight into enable mode, then no password is needed. The error message is because the account is either not getting into enable…
-
What device type are you using in CatTools? Also are you using Variations?
-
Please make sure that you have Syslog v9.5.0-Hot Fix 2 installed.
-
You will want to make sure that the CatTools service is running under an account that has admin rights to the remote share. By default it runs under a Local System account.
-
I think the main issue is that when the service restarts, nothing is listening on port 514.
-
Please do a netstat -ao -p udp, and post a screenshot.

Did airsun's suggestion help?
-
Kevin, What does Help\About show on the system that you are attempting to backup configs on?
-
You can use the Orion agent for Windows. It passes WMI data over a specific port depending on the communication type. Also see this link: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/wmisdk/setting-up-a-fixed-port-for-wmi

Try this: ^: ignore lines with the sample text occurring anywhere in them.
-
As long as the counters have not changed, the 2016 one should work. You can use the Windows Performance Monitor to verify the counters.
-
You are correct. AppInsight monitors are not affected by disabling built-in components.
