Just a quick possibility... I know that if you have a single item selected when you choose "Save As" it will only export that item in the drawing. If no items are selected while saving it as a JPG it will export the whole drawing. Let me know how it goes. --Jordan

Both of my answers would be "A"s. Solid Cirrus integration with Orion would make the two an absolutely killer tool. I can wait for the web based admin features but they are an eventual must have as well. --Jordan

Is there any documentation on the issue or another thread that I can read. I would like to at least know what the problem is if it has been identified. Thanks for your response. --Jordan

I do

I've done some more digging and found that it actually isn't the NetPerfMonService.exe service that is causing the issues. When I turn off the "SolarWinds Orion Job Scheduler" service the NetPerfMonService.exe returns to acceptable CPU levels. Does anyone have any idea why this service could be causing the CPU spike I'm…

Well...sorry for the wild goose chase here. I reinstalled Windows SNMP and it worked fine. I guess there was something wrong with the source files I used for the previous install. I swear the same source was used but the reinstall fixed it. Sorry for wasting your time. I will credit aLTeReGo with the answer though since it…

Unfortunately I have not had an opportunity to do this test. The uninstall of Windows SNMP on the servers asked for a reboot and since they are all production servers I'm going to have to wait for a maintenance window to test this solution. My guess is that since SNMP did not uninstall cleanly, it is probably an issue…

You also need to make sure that the ports are open on the esx firewall and that the service was restarted after configuration. Hope this helps

I don't know about the limited resources comment. We typically run around 400mhz of processor utilization. With the malfunctioning service we were running 2.3ghz. It isn't like we're running this on a sub 1ghz processor or anything and that certainly is one large jump. --Jordan

Just a follow up for any who are interested... It turns out that the issue was occurring due to a missing registry entry. The missing key(s) were "HKLM\Software\SolarWinds.net\Configuration Management" along with the subkey "HKLM\Software\SolarWinds.net\Configuration Management\Settings". If these keys don't exist with the…

I too would like to be icluded on this beta.

Glad I could help!

I can ping and can do ICMP only monitoring. I just checked for the windows firewall and it is not turned on.

I appreciate your quick response but unfortunately all of those suggestions have already been considered. SNMP is installed on each individual server with connections being allowed from any host (for the purposes of troubleshooting). OpenManage is installed on every server as well. The SNMP packets are touching layer 3 but…

So you never discovered the root cause? Has anyone else had this issue?

Amy, Thanks for the input but that did not work for me. Hopefully it will work for others who encounter the issue though. Just one additional thing that I forgot to mention before, is that this instance is running in VMware ESX 3.5. I wonder if not having a "true" console might be part of the issue. Well, thanks again!…

Same experience here. 2.5 installed cleanly and I haven't noticed any negative impact to my system.

I ended up calling after posting that message as I couldn't wait the weekend to get this rolling. Indeed, the licenses were reset at 11:30 BUT the email indicating that they were reset was sent to our A/P office instead of the email address that I provided on the support ticket. This is unacceptable! Not to mention that…

Thanks for the timely information. I just noticed this today but haven't had any time to look into it. Worked like a charm.

We are currently investigating integrating NPM with HEAT. It looks like our solution will have to be similar to the ones listed above. Email to the automatic ticket generator with the details encompassed in the body of the email.

I upgraded to NCM yesterday and the upgrade was fairly uneventful. The one thing I did find is that my sql password caused the configuration to puke because it has an "&" in it. I changed the password and all worked great. The one thing I am noticing is that my CPU utilization has greatly increased. It really has slowed…

I would be interested in beta testing this as well

I setup a custom poller to query the MIB containing active sessions. I just uploaded that poller to the content sharing zone for you to take a look at. It can be found at the following URL: F5 Firepass Active Session Custom Poller --Jordan

I personally would like to see support for Aruba's mobility controller over the Cisco lwapp solution.

So, I have a few suggestions. I'm not sure if they are specifically what you are looking for but they have solved similar issues for my installation. 1) Including a specific node/volume/interface graph on a summary page. I do this by adding a custom html resource on the summary page and then inserting an iframe referencing…

I responded to your previous thread regarding this issue but didn't see a response from you. I have created a custom poller (8.5) for this same statistic and have uploaded it to the content sharing zone. The link to the custom poller is . At bare minimum you can get the OID necessary for creating the universal device…
