I believe this behavior is a bug and is likely due to the component being disabled at the template level. Try disabling this component at the application level instead as a workaround. We are tracking this issue internally under case SAM-5818.

You can simply disable this component from the assigned application by going to the applications details view, clicking the "Edit Application Monitor" link in the top right, selecting the component, and clicking "Disable".

STM is only required for a small number of Arrays which are not yet supported by SRM. If you aren't running one of these older or less popular arrays, then you can simply run SRM without STM.

This is an excellent use case for custom properties. If you create a custom property for your nodes you could then add that condition to your alert trigger so applications assigned to nodes with custom property "Joe" would go to Joe, and nodes with a custom property of "Bob" would go to Bob, etc.
