You would need to perform this mathematical function as part of an advanced SQL alert macro using the ${SQL:SELECT} format. No native in-built ability to convert values to megabytes or gigabytes exists within the Advanced Alert Manager.

Changing the IP address is pretty harmless. You just need to remember to be sure and re-run the Configuration Wizard again after changing the IP of any Orion server.

Thresholds have already been defined in this template so the out of the box "Alert me when an application goes into warning or critical state" should work fine for notifying you whenever a failover occurs.
