I have almost the same problem, it works when I only select one or 2 devices, but as soon as I add a whole bunch then I also get "NO DATA" the poller stops collecting data. I have opened a ticket with support on this. It would be intresting to see how many people have this issue.

12.2 is not old for 4500 series switches. it is the current version. (switches software) Still IOS but they have not caught up to the Router Version yet. For routers 12.4 is current.

One things that would be nice, is the ability to add a vendor/company name to an unknown device. We have a few devices that we need to monitor but can ony do it via ICMP, and to go in and edit the database is OK, but it would be better if we could do this from the system manager.

 Check the windows event log and see if you SQL Server is doing a recovery after the reboot, I also had this issue. If SQL is doing a recovery on the database nothing will connect to the database or start up properly until the database comes online.
