I'm seeing this issue on Orion NPM 10.2.1. The node is a vendor supplied "appliance", so teh net-snmp version cannot be changed. I removed the CPU resouce, but am still seeing it at 100% and it's showing up in the TOP 10 pages/resources as well. Restarting services did not clear it either. Any other ways to get to polling…

Danielle, Thanks for all your help. Yes, the feature reuest is exactly what I am looking to achieve. Lets hope it is on the near term roadmap. Any method the requires email leaves up open to issues is the mail server is down, or is not able to deliver. Thanks again, Jack Poehlman

I'm currently using the version included with NCM 7.0.2. I changed the keepalive from 0 to 1200 seconds (20 Minutes) and tested, then changed to 120000 (2 hours) and tested again. The Keepalive changed did not appear to change the results on the Cisco UC backups. Any other ideas???

Thanks, it appears that Alert Escalation is now supported. Next question, Is there are way to acknowledge via SMS text messaging?

Has this subject ever been addressed in Orion or with a integrated product? I'm looking for a solution for Alert Escalation. It would be really nice to have it integrated and controlled by Orion.

Can you share any roadmap information for these features?? We are looking to use SMS alerts that can be ackknowledged via and SMS reply. Adding comments to the acknowledgement would be and extra bonus.
