I didn't quite understand... do you have problem with flex netflow and that's why you need update to NTA? Does this help? I got everything to work with 2T sup and 6509.

The scripts run different segments of the commands and are triggerered at certain points. If we look at the commands below, it lists different things that can be done. The download configs section is the one that I used, but in your case, I think you want DownloadConfigIndirect. Check the content exchange, I belie <Command…

The problem is Cisco has changed the way certain commands display certain data. The earlier versions of the controllers wouldn't actually show you the command line values used to get the current config and instead showed you the result. I'm guessing this was from the Airespace days. I've only played with one 5500 but once…

I don't know what has happened after this conversation, that actually solved my problem. But it doesn't help anymore! Here it comes: I added a new map under one group, as before. After that I noticed that in other groups pages had an error "The selected map is no longer available. Select another map on the Edit Network Map…

Nice job, it really works! Thanks!

Oh, I should have read the manual (or is it there yet?)... I managed to remove non-network devices from NCM, and also found a way to bring "down" status devices back "online". I removed them and added again to NCM. So now everything is ok. Thanks!

No, I give up, because I didn't manage to write query that I needed. Maybe I should get some SQL-training first.

I'm commenting to my own message, because it still doesn't work. Quite strange that everyone else here seem to get that script work but not me. Is it possible that WCL would get own WORKING script in some future versions of Orion NCM??? Little bit stupid thing, that the most common WLAN controller command language of this…

It was discovered before already, although there was not every ports monitored by NPM, just 2 of them. So I'm still wondering why only those two were available for UDT monitoring, as all non-monitored ports were in recources list anyway. UDT have nothing to do with fact are ports monitored by NPM or not. It depends just…

I have banged my head against wall for a while but I just don't understand how should I get advantage of that new feature after update... And I assume no one else either... ;)

Actually, when I checked the system for your question, I noticed that I now have temperature graph (from last 7 days only, but nothing beyond that, don't know why). It's quite obvious that I cannot get graph from fan state, which is no a "value". So maybe there is nothing wrong with system anymore. I just don't know what…

Jiri Cvachovec wrote: Ismo, Maybe I'm getting you wrong, but why would you want to import servers, printers etc. into NCM at all? Regards, Jiri I didn't want to do that. Those servers that has been found since last NCM/NPM update has automatically been added to NCM also. All the old servers/devices include only in NPM, not…

I have the same problem! I just noticed that backups have not succeeded since updating NCM couple of months ago... Glad to notice it now, and not when I'd really needed a backup copy. What did you do and where, to solve the problem? When I manually start TFTP server it seems to be ok. So at least it starts up! Should I do…

I made an exception for Chrome adblocker, and now I'm seeing this button. Thanks!

That was slow right in a first day of use after system installation. There was no database data at that time. How long time dashboard normally takes to load? Maybe I'll open a real ticket because I think SW people doesn't read these forum.

This is probably a stupid question, but what this 64 or 32 bit counter means? What type of devices use 64bit counters? This is interesting, because I've put everything as default (network devices mainly, swithes for example) and it was news to me that it may cause some wrong graphs...

I understand what is reading on screen, but I still not understand why it works like that? I mean, if I download both configs, why system cannot compare running config to last running config, and startup config to last startup config? What prevents that? System knows which is which, so why I should need a separate job for…

I did this template which works with our 44xx devices: <!-- edited with Notepad by Jodros--> ... ... Can someone explain the basics to novice? Problem: WLC 4402 config backup doesn't work. I've tried to search the answer from these forums, but without success. Here's what I've tried: I have copied template (as the matter…

Ports are showing devices correctly now. As I told in last message, I made discovery again (actually that was 4th time in whole history) and now information stays in sheet as it should. So, you still think I should contact support? Right now I can't show you anything that doesn't work ok...

Query works ok, but it doesn't give a result I wanted to see. As told, I don't understand anything about making sql queries, so I just have to try to change some parametres and test does that work. Usually my changes end up for error. But I understand SW is not sql educator, so maybe I'll just try to make it work by…

I think I understand this. But if I limit (as I did) NetPerfMon_log.LDF file size from 2TB (must be some kind of bug in SQL 2005!) to 2GB so file cannot grow bigger than that, where all the data goes after file reach its maximum size. To simplify the question, what if I limit that for 5kB? What stops working? I mean, file…

(I just updated NPM to version 10.2.2) Sounds nice, but I don't know how to do that. Where should I write and what buttons to press...? Online help or admin manuals doesn't know that new feature at all.

Yes, poller assigned is ok. So MIB gives correct values, poller is ok, just the values in graph are wrong... Strange!

Maybe I was too quick in my "judgement". Now everything should be ok: SW#sh mls nde Netflow Data Export enabled Exporting flows to 10.100.10.81 (9996) Exporting flows from 192.168.100.1 (51282) SW#show ip flow export Flow export v1 is enabled for main cache Exporting flows to 10.100.10.81 (9996) Exporting using source…

This comes very late, but didn't see this before. So you need basics? In old netflow you write command after command as normal configuration. But in flex netflow (if you don't use "emulated netflow" which doesn't work in NTA) you have to create a so called "sub-programs" into router configuration and IOS jumps between…

I think I managed to solve this. I had to re-add switches to NPM system. Then those ports came available to that manage ports-feature. But still I cannot choose single ports to make them unmanaged if needed. Can this be browser problem? I'm using Chrome.
-
That would be great, because for example WLAN controllers and rack servers use port channels. I see it much more useful than VMWare ESX stuff (I don't even know what is it. I don't use it even when we have some vmware servers in network. I monitor switch ports, not servers NIC's).

If I remember correctly, earlier there was option in IIS settings (probably 2003 Server?) where I could put the proxy address, so those banners worked. But in some point (in updates to Server 2008 R2?) I lost that setting and cannot find it anymore! So Thwack links doesn't work though I have proxy settings configured in…

That @leather spam text was taken from my real post in here: Very strange... Some kind of copy-paste-robot...

Jiri Cvachovec wrote: Hi bleearg13, I consulted with our dev team and they confirmed that from NCM 7.0 on, the functionality is not there. Regards, Jiri Bad thing I think. I have many servers, printers etc monitored in NPM, so not only network devices. Now they show also in NCM list, confusing me and also making "backed up…
