There isn't a way to dynamically associate a map to a specific group. However, if you are planning to show different groups to different users, you can create a unique Group level summary view for each user and associate a different map for each user Group view associated with the user, i.e., you can do it as a user level

How exactly did you determine that the connector did not normalize the log entry? Did you use nDepth? Which firewall is this? Can you post a sample log message from the syslog copy that is "missing"

Use any of the Top XX resources in your customized View. Edit the Resource, and use the Filtering examples shown to define the pattern that best suites your requirement to display just the interfaces you are after

Yes, LEM does collect events from the Windows Application log

If you haven't seen this already, it discusses the options available for FSDB placement SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: NTA 4.0 Installation: Frequently Asked Questions

Sounds like you need to set this in the trigger condition
-
If you create a brand new user, and login as that user, you should get the defaults back. You can then export them (one group at a time), and import them back to the other user

When you use additional polling engines, all the data collected by all the polling engines is written to the same MS SQL database. This would apply to NPM, NTA, SRM and SAM. NTA also uses an additional database called FSDB (Flow Storage DB), which is also used by all the polling engines. DPA would be a separate install. If…

I'm assuming you have a trigger action to send the snmp trap from npm to your application. You can edit this action and have an escalation defined to repeat every 60 seconds. I don't believe there is an escalation for the Reset action. So, the up notification will be only once. If you want a trap to be sent every 60…

There is an snmpwalk.exe utility directly under the Orion install folder. Can you try an SNMP walk from the Orion server to one of the devices for which SNMP queries have stopped working?
-
Check the SMTP server settings for the Email trigger action (Trigger Actions tab of the Alert definition)
-
That option is to insert a custom SQL query, not SWQL. What exactly are you trying to insert into the alert email? Can you provide more details?
-
SNMP walk tools are available as part of Engineer's Toolset and Network Performance Monitor

The issue is clearly outside the SolarWinds software. You will need to check with your email admin on the correct settings for email relay. It need not be port 25. Some email servers require authentication and/or encryption (TLS).

Yes to both - to change the logo: Settings, Web Console Settings and the setting is called Site Logo URL - to change the heading of a view, click on 'Customize Page' link, change the heading and click the Update button.

Simply define the OID in the custom poller as a Counter variable. UnDP will automatically compute the difference between 2 polls. You then need to create a UnDP transform to convert that into a rate.

Go to Manage Nodes Group by Polling Method. Click on WMI Choose all the nodes for which you want to change credentials (there is also a checkbox in the title row to select all nodes) Click on Edit Properties Click on the checkbox for 'Polling Method' Set the new credential as if you would do it for a single node 'Submit'…

Go to Settings > Manage Nodes in the web console. Click on the + sign next to the node name to view the list of resources. You should be able to select the resource you don't need and click on the Delete button in the Manage Nodes ribbon.

If you haven't already looked at this guide, I recommend that you do http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/apm/docs/apmwmitroubleshooting.pdf Resetting the WMI counters as explained in the doc will most likely help here

Can you post a screencap of the trigger condition. At least based on the indentation of the conditions you have listed, it is not targeting just the DHCP server.

It sounds like your Alert time of the day is 24 x 7 but you email alert action Time of Day is 6AM to 6PM. You may want to change the Alert time of the day alone to 6AM to 6PM and don't set any specific time of day for the email alert action. This will notify of devices that are detected as down or come back up between 6AM…

Which version of NPM?
-
Which products do you own? If you have SAM / NPM, it can be done as an alert action - I have seen the details of it posted in thwack before. If you want to schedule a reboot at a particular time, my recommendation would be to use SolarWinds Patch Manager.
-
Each alert is evaluated independently - so, yes if the second alert is also for a threshold of 70% of less, it will fire 2 alerts. Why do you want to define 2 alerts?
-
Poll Now should do it. Other things you can try is to unassign and re-assign the template. Extreme step is to stop all Orion services and start again using the Orion Service Manager utility on the Solarwinds server
-
dlvonde NCM and NPM operate independently of each other. NCM will inventory all the interfaces which is used for reporting and also can be used to build your config change templates. If you want to see IP, MAC, utilization, on your interfaces, those interfaces need to be managed (licensed) by virtue of your NPM license.…

I don't think transforms will help here. If a report will work for you, I suggest you look at a custom sql report Below would be some useful resources to accomplish this Re: Combine two UDPs on a line in a report SQL SERVER – Convert Seconds to Hour : Minute : Seconds Format | Journey to SQL Authority with Pinal Dave

Please provide more details on your alert definition

From Manage Nodes or Interface Details view, Edit the properties of the Interface and set it's Custom Bandwidth

From the Advanced Alert Manager utility on the SolarWinds server, and use the relevant Memory property. If you are not familiar with Advanced Alert Manager, you can see a quick tutorial here Network Performance Monitor (NPM) Training - YouTube
