Add a Custom Chart resource, choose the data series for the left and right Y axis

is it a non-English version of Windows? Have you seen the corresponding entry in the Windowe event log?
-
It is possible to make Windows log a disk space alert which LEM can then normalize ( I haven't checked this for Windows 2012) Window 2003 and 2008 including R2: You will have to create 2 DWORDs. DiskSpaceThreshold and LowDiskSpaceMinimum. These DWORDs do not exist by default, and will require a reboot to take effect.…

Orion NPM MTTR Report should help
-
What is the prompt to enter the user name? You can also turn on Session Tracing from the NCM Win32 console, and look at the session trace logs and swTelnet log under the NCM installation folder.
-
you can launch the Orion diagnostics utility from the SolarWinds server, and click on 'Active Diagnostics'. It gives you a color coded report and you can look at the reds for any obvious issues in parallel, best to open a support ticket
-
Oncommand manager is not essential to collect data. SRM uses NetApp API, not SMI-S. If you go to Settings, Add Storage Device, you can follow the wizard to add it in. Where exactly are you stuck?
-
Are you able to post a sample remediation script? If you enable NCM session tracing, the session trace files should tell you where exactly it is timing out.
-
Not with Virtualization Manager, but you can with Server & Application Monitor http://www.solarwinds.com/topics/server-health-monitoring.aspx With the out of the box integration between the two products, it feels seamless

I don't believe it is possible to display the unit of measurement for custom poller charts. You could either rename the poller or the title/sub-title of resource to convey the message.
-
Any reason you are not able to use the Configuration Management view to kick off a download on-demand? NCM job is definitely an option as superfly99 suggested
-
What's the error message? Can you post a screenshot of your Node configuration?
-
2 minutes for up/down status polling 9 minutes for statistics
-
Have you considered creating a Group (in the web console, Settings > Manage Groups) with the WPM Transaction, SAM Application Monitors and Nodes?
-
SQL 2012 should be supported since SAM 5.2 Windows 2012, SQL 2012, SQL 2014 and SolarWinds products SAM+NPM use the native SQL client to communicate with the SQL database. If you turn on the encryption at the SQL server level, it should force all clients to use encryption. This should be transparent to NPM or SAM

The controller should be a node in the nodes table. I think you just need to add the stuff in blue .... WHERE ( rc.DateTime BETWEEN '2014/08/08 08:00:00' and '2014/08/08 12:00:00' ) AND Caption like '%yourWLCnodename%' .....

Some of the use cases are discussed here https://thwack.solarwinds.com/community/solarwinds-community/product-blog/blog/2014/07/23/sam-62-beta--because-sometimes… If you overlapping IPs, agent initiated would be the only option for example

Yes, it is still valid. The retention methodology hasn't changed.
-
Yes, you can. Although, VBScript is probably a better candidate than PowerShell for this task. There are examples in the out of the box template library when you install SAM
-
Take a look at one of the other templates that sets interface descriptions based on CDP info. That would be closer to your use case.
-
It's probably because Unmanaged nodes are not Down nodes. Start with the All Nodes resource (the official terminology for "box") instead of Down Nodes resource, and set the filter to Unmanaged =1. Don't enclose 1 in quotations since it is not a text comparison.
-
My recommendation would be to use custom properties. Create an Interface custom property called 'AlertFlag' with possible values of Yes or No. Use the custom property wizard to set all the interfaces you want to be notified on to Yes for this custom property. In your Alert Manager, simply add another condition to the out…

Virtually none. You can export the template from the 'manage templates' setting area and give it to them. They can see the list of SQL queries that is in the template - it's sort of an XML format but search for "SELECT" in any text editor to see the queries. The online SAM admin guide also has detailed descriptions about…

It should be just datastore browse privilege - same as what is required for STM. Do you see data for vm.volSummary.capacity ?
-
NTM can discover the endpoints connected to a switch. You can create multiple maps out of scan results just for the nodes you want to be included in the map. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by " ...that pc to a server in the data center". How are the PCs connecting to the server? Via remote desktop?
-
Not possible out of the box. The best workaround i know of is to put them in its own template. With that said, v6.2 should take care of it Re: Prevent component from turning template red even when down

I am not familiar with VGs in particular but if the upgrade can be achieved manually by typing commands on a Telnet/SSH session, it can be accomplished with NCM. There is a section on IOS firmware upgrade in the NCM admin guide.

What are you trying to find out about SL100? It is fully functional NPM software - just limited by the license size of 100 elements. You can demos, and a quick licensing video here SolarWinds SE Demos
