Remote desktop to the SolarWinds server. Launch the Database Manager, and click on 'Add Default Server'. Once you see the database, you can right click to see properties and sort on the size. You will need to see what tables these are before you can truncate so as to not cause data integrity issues. To compact the…

See the discussion here Using a Macro for email alerts in Advanced Alert Manager The best approach is to create custom properties and reference them as macros to notify the appropriate folks. You can reference these macros in any of the available alert actions

your first screenshot is the global defaults used for new nodes, interfaces and volumes your second screenshot is for that specific node and for node level stats like cpu, memory. It doesnt mean all interfaces and volumes on that node will also be monitored at 2 minutes the above explains the third screenshot go to manage…

Yes. Take a look at HTTP/HTTPS user experience monitors, TCP port monitor, SQL User experience monitors when you try to modify your template to add more 'component monitors'

All monitored elements of a node are polled by the polling engine it is assigned to. If you had a router with a WAN and LAN interface that you need to monitor, you cannot assign just the WAN interface to 1 poller and the rest to another poller ( I think you understand that already but the subject says 'node distribution'…

answering using the power of google translate. hope it did a good job of translating so, you can clear out the RW community string value just for that node and save. you can also go to Settings > Manage Nodes, group by Polling Method = SNMP Select all nodes click on Edit Properties and clear out for all your SNMP nodes

Did you check under 'Host performance' ?

Ckesey You should be using a Custom Node Table Poller, not the Custom Node Poller. You should be able to create your alert using the friendly name of the custom poller, and not have to use any of the GUIDs (long IDs) like the one in your screenshot

hi parro008, I am a little confused about what you are trying to do. the Alert 'Alert me when a component goes into warning or critical state' refers to components with SAM Application Monitors. But, it looks like you want to suppress CPU alerts. Are you trying to suppress alerts for SAM application monitors on these high…

A few things you could check - Do you have licenses available and enabled for this agent? (The Edit page of the agent will show you if its licensed) - From the Server Monitor, if you drill down to the agent's console do you see historical charts for CPU, memory, etc? - Does the traffic light respond to show the status of…

How many servers have you assigned this template to? What duration are we talking about for these 100 emails? The Alert itself is straightforward and is one that is used routinely. So, the alert itself is fine. You will need to look at your component definitions to see what determines the status of a component monitors as…

your alert definition is incorrect. remove the second condition on member full name. The 3rd, 4th and 5th conditions should be part of a condition group where "any" of the following is true. See my comments on this thread about condition groups Advanced alerts is my@gmail.com the actual email address or did you modify the…

That is not possible. LEM is a virtual appliance, and can be deployed in a vSphere or Hyper-V environment. You can install the LEM Agent on the Orion server if you like, but the not the LEM manager

You should be achieve this all in 1 alert. - Trigger condition: node status is equal to down. C:\ProgramData\SolarWinds programdata is a hidden folder. you may need to enable that from windows explorer's folder options. you can also simply type c:\programdata in the file path and it will take you there

I am assuming this is a SAM question, not an NPM one. If the programming language is Java but the UI is still text based, you should be able to do keyword matches on the content using the HTTP monitor in SAM. If not, you will need WPM Java - It's Not Just for Breakfast Anymore
