I'm not going to be able to try the Dashboard today - have to get an exception to install yet another piece of software that isn't on the "approved" list. Using the Toolset MIB Browser and the v3 credentials, I can browse the devices' MIB tables with no problem. I must be doing something wrong but don't know what....the…

Is there any possibility to get a 'hot fix' for this rather than wait on a service pack? No promises, but we'll see if we can do that.

I worked with support on this. It turns out that if you run a nightly backup but ony save configs that changed instead of downloading a config every night then this report won't work. Apparently it only compares a config from the previous day. I guess that should be a feature request to have this report compare the last…

This is fixed in v9.1, which will ship shortly.

* Polling interval is set by your node polling interval. * I can't give a date yet, but the next step is testing with a few customers

Go to Admin > Manage Views and edit the Node Details view. You should see it in the list; from there you can delete it.

Sorry I am replying to this messgae so late. The fix I found for my inital issue was to actually upgrade my Dell Chassis switch to a newer firmware (v1.1.0.10). Hope this helps.

This was a fun thread to read. I'm sorry there wasn't any update after the discussion about the beta candidate. I gave up posting feature suggestions / feedback over a year ago.

Changing the frequency will vary how often the alert engine evaluates the query. When it does it, it will check the status, which, by default, it updated every two minutes. So, you should have the frequency on the alert engine at a smaller interval than the frequency on the status polling.

Licensed copy. I'll open a support ticket now :)

Just as an FYI, if you add the SQL variable ${VolumeSpaceAvailable} it reports with an indicator of G for gigabyte and a M for megabyte without doing the extra math query. Perfect! We were not aware of the change. This will clean up our alert messages too. Thanks.

Maybe I'm being dense, but I don't see any gaps in that chart.

I checked your ticket and it looks like Dev is actively working on this with support. Hopefully we'll have a resolution for you soon. -Craig Craig, Sorry it's been so long since posting status back to this thread. We recieved a buddy drop and it worked for fixing the discoveries but we still receive frequently the same…

Thanks Craig. Jason has been great to work with and keeping me informed.

If you go to your Customer Portal and look at your Additional Components, you'll find an item called "View Cirrus Configs from Orion website". You can download that to get the integration. The next version of Cirrus will introduce much deeper integration.

I am pretty sure that your pinky toe will be safe to use as a bargaining tool for something else. The System Manager, to the best of my knowledge, will see little to no improvement. It's my understanding that the System Manager console is programmed in some old language and SW is really focusing on transitioning all that…

Josh, I have been following this link as well as I also have the same issue so I am curious how this comes out. I have an open ticket with support (82622). Any luck yet?

After some additional research I found that the 3 switches that do report memory size correctly are running a different version of the IOS. Below is the breakdown I found of the good IOS version versus the bad one. I have not updated the others to the good yet to determine if that is a fix. Also note this only applies to…

The beta has been closed. I'm not sure I understand your feature request around " managing nodes based on their business/store hours. This would include the "alerting" on errors etc and also the reporting capabilities within. Could you elaborate? I think we can do this now. Within "Alerting" a feature like "alter me if…

Not to beat a dead horse here, but we've setup our NTA to monitor all ports, yet we're still getting unmonitored traffic. Is there any way to figure out what this unmonitored traffic consists of?

Will these improvements include fixing it so that pollers that are applied to 1500+ interfaces actually collect data? Have you opened a support ticket for this? I haven't seen another user report this problem. Working through support will be our best chance to resolve your issue.

There wasn't a change to DB Maintenance in SP1. The change to increase the chunk size is being worked on and we hope it makes the next SP. The main reason it was probably taking so long was that we were cleaning up orphan data that had been accumulating. The 100 chunk size wasn't a good choice for that. For "normal" runs,…

Hi No problem Just downloaded the updated SQL, cheers only issue I see is the last validation check and npmn.SerialNumber<>cmep.Serial this seems to prevent the match, not sure why, but I took it out and it seem to be fine, I know it does a validation check to make sure the Serial numbers in NCM Enitiy and NMP SerialNumber…

I know the workaround is a little cumbersome, but I'm glad it's at least working. We are planning to resolve this issue in an upcoming hotfix (and certainly release). I'll close the loop here when that's available.

Upgrade to SP4 and then open a Support ticket.

After coming back to this, I was able to get the monitors working mostly. Now I am recieving this error for the DAG Health monitors on some of my mailbox servers:

Hmmm this is interesting, (albeit I am running 9.1 of Orion not v8). The completion rate on the one polling engine above 99% is also having the issue, however, you mentioned the time since the last DB synch. That time should be under 10 seconds? Now thats interesting being that I am 2 minutes"ish". Can you elaborate on the…

* Yes on both pollers, and I see the behavior of interfaces data gaps on devices residing on not only either polling engine, but also local and distant networks. They only point of interest is that I do see "some" differences with device near my own LAN however I do still see the problem there as well just not as prolific.…
