That's useful info thanks @donrobert5 - IMHO it's a poor use of the word 'Never'… "unused never" is a double negative 😁. It would be better if it said ">30" or "Forever". But at least you've cleared up part of the mystery - I just need a level of confidence that if a port is in the udt.unusedports table, that it really is…

I just finished a report to show monthly peaks on our internet routers… it took a while but I'm happy with the result - see shot below: If this is the sort of thing you were looking for I can provide some direction or perhaps an export of the report for you to work with… Daran.

Hi @cnorborg thanks for replying… yes, half the trick is knowing which tables to use I guess. I'm going to look at combining UDT, NPM and NCM in the mother of all queries and see what I get - will post something here when I've got something worth looking at!!

FYI - The links to the prizes do not work from the UK - Amazon does not show prizes that cannot be delivered to the UK from a US Amazon account. I think you need to change how you create these links somehow…

Your instructions are incorrect for the Mission Shortcut... item 9 should say "4 and 8" rather than "6 and 11"
-
Wow - am in awe of this games room!
-
@"kpina" I've answered today's question correctly and have been told it is incorrect???
-
You mean alerts created in the "Manage Alerts" area? Can you send me a screenshot so I know what you mean?
-
I believe the answer to the question is actually here rather than the bullets:
-
Do you hold these events in EMEA too? We have just purchased Solarwinds and it would be great to meet with like minds and gain some insights
-
Agreed but also the fourth paragraph hints at Saas: "Monitor and observe your way — Self-hosted deployment with an onramp to SaaS" Plus I know it works when deployed on a VM which you could argue is a virtual appliance
-
The page that the question is linked to does NOT mention HTML-5 anywhere - so I did not tick this option and yet I got the question wrong because of this... Foul play!!!!
-
Today's question is misleading - boo!
-
I don't understand this request - can you elaborate?
-
The link for the MVP programme throws up a page not found error...
-
Yes - the store prices seem out of reach for us mere mortals.. I am on Thwack regularly and also do the monthly missions but getting to 100K+ points seems like a pipe dream
-
ahh got it - didn't even know this was an option... I've done a lot of cutomisation of our alerts and wrote a little widet to show which ones are being hit... Can't think what I'd use a custom SQWL query for - what is a typical use? Sorry - not really giving you answers, but questions lol.
-
Does anyone have a solution to this?

I made the mistake of watching Office Space last night purely based on hearing about it here... I can honestly say it is one of the worst films I've ever had the misfortune to watch. Sure, there are one or two funny pieces but overall, it was 90 minutes I am never getting back. It is a travesty that I Robot lost out to…

@"ChrystalT" are you (or have you already) actually going to do an update on "Vulnerability and Risk Dashboard" - this is a feature we used previously in my org and with some recent updates we seem to have lost some functionality and visibility (indeed we had to do some SWQL magic to restore our previous analysis of the…

Only owned two consoles - a Sega Megadrive when I was ~25 and now a Playstation 5 (at 59)... go figure. My youth was spent on BBC micro games... if there are any Beeb enthusiasts on here I thoroughly recommend this digital book in order to relive your youth:…

Exactly - how can we tell if it is using HTML5 if it is not mentioned... getting this question wrong effectively removes you from the weekly and monthly prize competition. There is no point doing these missions if they are going to have misleading/impossible questions @"ChrystalT"
-
thanks @"ChrystalT" but the video doesn't even mention it - it's about AWS/AZure. I am aware that clicking on a wdget title takes you to the more detailed data but in previous versions we were able to review the CVE list, add comments, manage/accept/mitigate reasons etc. in bulk for devices/models but this seems to have…

I'm always interested in new tips and techniques for improving our monitoring capabilities

I just noticed the age of the post lol
-
hard to say from an overall company perspective!
-
@"kpina" there's an error on day 5 - no poll
-
And the link contained within today's challenge is incorrect - I'm sure these missions are sabotaged!!! Can it be fixed and can we please have a pass on yesterday's question (24th) ?

A nice policy. Designed to confuse most folk. How long will it last?
