Well that just made my week. Thanks Clapoint :) I'll be sure that my case it tied to it and I'll post back my results once I get the SR.

I looked at the new NCM demo (replaced Cirrus) and they have a similar report on the demo page. you might see if it's what you need. It's a Baseline vs. Running config report. No quite the same, but if you keep your baselines up to day (I don't), it might give you what you're looking for. orionncmdemo.solarwinds.com/

I have the same problem and have been told by Solarwinds that it is a known issue, but haven't seen any sort of resolution. Has anyone had any luck getting this to work?

Let me put my request in the hat as well. Given the complexity and importance of the VPN3000 series devices, I'm surprised it hasn't been addressed already. I'd also like to see VG248's get added as well, though these may be a bit tougher. At the same time, if you go through their menu, there is an option to view the text…

I never got any info on this being implemented. As a (bad) workaround, I run a script from time to time that simply pushes out a write command to the devices to write whatever is running to memory. I really wish they would implement this.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

UPDATED: I've had a ticket open with Solarwinds for a while on this, but was told that this is a known issue they are working on. Cirrus has been effectively useless to me since I upgraded to 4.0. Frankly it's a little frustrating to have it down with no end in sight.

Network_Guru, Thank you for the link. That is a little easier than the ways that I had seen in other posts. But I was told by someone that the latest version of Orion (I just upgraded again to 8.5) would have a more intuitive way to doing alert grouping based on object grouping. My problem is that, if I'm reading that post…

The server this will go on will be publicly accessible and I would prefer not to have Orion accessible from that system. Just this on page of graphs.

Ah, found it. That's perfect. Thank you for the quick response.

This did solve my problem in that it changed the map, but for all users. How can I set it up so that user A sees Map A and user B sees Map B when they log in? Basically I have different users who are responsible for different geographic areas and I need them to see maps specific to their areas of responsibility. Thanks,…

So I tried NotePager Pro, which looked like it was going to be a great solution. But here is the problem - many of the major carriers are shutting their TAP gateways down. T-Mobile and AT&T (which are the two cell services we use) have shut theirs down somewhat recently. So the program works great up to the point that it…

Just trying to bring this back up. I think this would be a useful report.

Forgot a piece of useful information. My Config change report is supposed to report on any changes made in the last 2 days - though again, how it compares doesn't matter if it doesn't have anything to compare.
