  • What about fixes? BB
  • I opened a ticket this morning....waiting for a response. BB
  •  Bryan, You should definitely have been sent a note. That is normal procedure. The support rep made a mistake. We are re-opening that ticket. Apologetically, Denny Sent a note that it was closed? Hmmm....I don't recall evey getting a close email. Maybe have your system send out a generic email like you do when you open…
  • Denny...I hear ya but I've heard that said many times before...and for a long time. I know I get frustrated trying to identify version numbers, patch levels for Orion and my add-ons in 1 easy way. It's just not possible currently. Please...get this address...soon.
  • Ok....so why doesn't the VoIP Monitor set up all aspects of the voice test then? If your telling the router what DSCP value to use then why not make the monitor configurable to allow us to specify frequency, packet size, etc? Is that on the roadmap? BB
  • If I remember correctly 08 Orlando09 San Francisco10 Las Vegas Tim How do you know about these locations? CCO doesn't haven anything yet for USA in '08. BB
  • 1. I think it has to be all maps because you'll need to pull maps that are nested. 2. Daily would be nice, but maybe make it configurable where you can set your own schedule 3. We do build maps on EOC only that have data from multiple Orion pollers that cannot be affected. Bryan
  • Denny...I must have missed it. I do see soemthing odd though. What I'm seeing now is I have upgraded the NPM server with SP2. Then I upgraded my 2 remaining pollers. On those 2 pollers I still see the Alert Engine Service installed and running after the patch was applied. Should I uninstall that service? Or disable it?…
  • Bump...Andy? BB
  • Has anyone created UnDP for Nexus support? If so can you upload them to the Content Exchange? Thanks! BB
  • Anyone have luck with this. I still have the same weird node list scroll bar jumping behavior in 5.1.1. I emailed support for an update. BB
  • No...I'm seeing this more on my 9.1 SP3 boxes which I know I need to upgrade. I have to see if it happened on my 9.5 recently. The next time it happens I'll open a case.
  •  I've got SSH1 & SSH2 working with SecureCRT but telnet is not working. When I click on it I get a new IE window saying "The webpage cannot be displayed" With SSH1 & 2 a SecureCRT window pops up and works. I checked my registry and telnet is set up like these as well. I even click on that option in SecureCRT's global…
  • From EOC? I don't see that column.
  • Loaded the hotfix but still get the timeout error. I opened case #201376.
  • Mark, If you download V9 today and install it with the footer say V9 SP1 or just V9? If it doesn't this will be confusing for people who need to figure out if they do or do not have the SP. I have requested this a long time ago that somewhere on the admin page shows all your servers and all the applications installed with…
  •  You shouldn't need to shutdown pollers, but you should down additional NetFlow Receivers. Actually the upgrade shuts down everything first. One nuisance I have is with 5 servers I hate having to watch the installed do the database check each time a poller is upgraded. I know you guys are working on better remote poller…
  • I'm still reviewing the data....in the meantime can you answer : "I guess my question is in NTA do I have to check the LAN interfaces as well to see all the data going to/from on the WAN interface?" Or can I just check the interfaces I want to report on? BB Can someone answer "do I have to check the LAN interfaces as well…
  •  Ok....what about NetFlow? Ever since I loaded SP3 my NetFlow service continues to stop. BB
  • I vote for what you propose here Chris. Add it to NPM and have a checkbox to ask if you want to add it to NCM. If you check that then you need to enter the credentials, log in info, etc. However for this to work there has to be multiple NCM server support, just like multiple orion pollers. You need to be able to select the…
  • The recommendations would be put your web server as close to the DB server as possible. Like it's been said any latency between the 2 can give you the slowness you may be seeing. We have distributed polling where some pollers are over a WAN but the main NPM server and DB server are on the same network. BB
  • I don't have any Linux boxes just yet...I did discover 2 Windows boxes but I'm not getting any inventory out of them. Even for things like you'd expect in the "Windows" stuff you listed. BB
  • I opened a ticket for the UnDP issue and loading of the node details. I launched UnDP on one of my pollers and after an hour it still isn't loaded. Loading of node details takes between 70-80 seconds on my system. Everything else (like interfaces, etc) load in 1-2 seconds. Node management on the web site is nice to have…
  • 4.0.1 is 370+ MB??? That doesn't seem right. BB
  • Denny, This request is over 2 years old and we still do not have the ability, via a simple check box, to remove domain name for our devices. SQL scripting is just a bandaid. Why is this taking so long to get in the official build. It's very frustrating. BB
  • We have the same slow web site in 8.5.1 like everyone else. Does Node Filtering slow the site down any? Meaning that on the down nodes and most of the other views we filter out all the servers and just report on network stuff. Do those filters take long to process and as a result make the page slower? I also just did a…
  • 8.5.1....I need to send my diag.zip file to support but sinec its over 5MB I can't email it. I have to wait till they tell me where it can be uploaded. I want to hold off re-running the set-up if possible...like I said this issue is on multiple servers. BB
  • No...I think that webinar is talking about how to use Orion to monitor your WAN links....we are talking about how to get Orion to work with pollers of WAN links. I tweaked the time the poller issues pings for up/down; rediscovers and stuff but that didn't help. I still have alot of gapping (dots on graphs) on my remote…
  • Denny...we've discussed this in another thread (). But I need the ability to customize the SNMP trap option with custom information. I can do this in Basic Alerts but not Advanced. BB
  • This is an issue on versions 12.2(33) XNB1 and before. It is fixed in 12.2(33) XND and higher.
