I just read the average TV watcher has about 200 channels but only watches about 15. Personally, I watch between 5 and ten, at most. I figure I would buy about 7 channels - and maybe something extra for my 4k UHD. 7 * $5/per channel = $35/month. I really don't want more than what I watch. (News, Discovery, A&E, History,…

Your answer is correct for the easy version of the riddle! Congratulations. My co-worker, Alterego, did post the answer to the harder version the day I posted this. I promptly removed his correct answer. (He's smart, but not too bright sometimes.) If you ever want the correct answer to the harder version, private message…

Tried that like 5 steps ago.

Going from 8.1 to 10 tomorrow (Image already made). Oh how I love being on the bleeding edge.

Got these: * "Also wanted to point out that the Administrator manual included with this release seems to be MUCH better for dumb people like myself. Much easier to read and follow," from this thread: Technical Writers - The Unsung Heroes * - and I won! * Came in second here:

First, you may wanna check out this article I wrote a while back: Technical Writers - The Unsung Heroes Now to answer your question about how to get the writing outta the way in an accurate and efficient manner. The secret? Cheat. In other words, delegate. Have a network of SMEs and email them your questions, needs, etc.…

Someone should write a brief review on all the Windows operating systems. Oh wait.

Life lesson #1694: RTFM.

Honestly, everything is exactly the same. In fact, the only thing I could see was possibly a slight, minor, uptick in internet speed.

Like I said, they do, just gotta have a TV account (or piggyback off of someone else).

I guess I neglected to mention that the first thing I did was make an image too. Funny how Microsoft trained us to do that pre-upgrade.

Well, over my career using Windows, I have been a software developer, network admin, power user, hacker, and the basic "look at the pretty colors" user. I really have lived through every version of Windows. I still have version 1.0 tucked away somewhere. Again, if you're just surfing the web or reading emails, Windows 8…

Although, while reading some of their fixes (that didn't work) I pointed them to this thread. Who knows?

Ha, I'm getting the six foot wall cling of that from the office and putting it on my bedroom wall! (In hindsight, that sounds really pathetic...sigh.)

Great tip. For more info, see: How to disable the Diagnostics Tracking Service in Windows - gHacks Tech News

I like the way you think.

Wow, even GTA 5 was not affected by the upgrade, and that's 60 gigs!

3 updates remaining, and failing...scotch? Lol

My favorite OS was Win 7. I find Win 10 good, but not great. Reboots are becoming more frequent, Perhaps over the Christmas vacation I'll look under the hood and see what's going on.

Should have been called Microsoft Window.

The 3 last ones are security updates.
