Yes. In fact, we are trying to revamp the entire online help system to include new features in all the help files for every product - one of which is an experiment with videos. That said, we need the help of you thwackians. (Note: Our efforts to improve our help system is not a commitment or promise in any way.) You can…

Ok, here's my world at SolarWinds:

While teaching a VB class at a "school" in NYC, I asked the students to move the mouse to the top-right of the screen. One poor soul, who thought the mouse was a gas pedal of some sort, picked the mouse up from under her foot and placed it on the screen. Needless to say she did not do very well in my class.

I've never seen a book titled, "Great Chefs of England."
-
Yes, this is the new main system. The PDFs will linger for those in secure environments who cannot access online content (Part of the install). Oh, and thanks!

Up next, Windows Infinity!

In all fairness to MS, it is a fight to get the UI perfect. (I'd be happy if they left it alone.) Here at SW, I have input into the new features that are being developed, but the problem is there are many others with differing opinions. I'm not a big fan of collaboration (Too many chefs...). It's as though the louder you…

Yes, I'm throwing myself under the bus.

Thwack! Now I get it.

I'll be getting more RAM soon, and hopefully an SSD!

Amish Mafia. Yes, I have seen an episode. I miss Archie Bunker and George Jefferson myself. Remember the days when people on TV weren't always pretty and politically correct? Bunch of dingbats on the tube now. ;-) What history am I learning on the History Channel by watching: Pawn Stars, American Pickers and Swamp People?…

Check out pages 572-575 here. SAM Administrator Guide v6-1 In the meantime I'll have someone take a look at this thread.

This button does live on the node details page. It may be hidden if Top 10 lists are not used. See here.

When am I gonna get invited to these things?

To the rest of the community, we've discussed this issue offline.

Maybe I should donate my ideas to Microsoft? Clearly they wouldn't pay for such genius!

Update: Per the instructions here: Fix Windows corruption errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool I installed, rebooted, and am now installing the 34 updates pending. No AV on, highest rights, all non-MS services off. Stand by...

Slow down cowboy. I'll catch Andy (former employee) in several months. And aLTeReGo is in my sights.

Ok

I don't get it either. I can tell you that a show about developing our software would be more compelling - at least to the geeks of the world. We can shift the conversation from Pawn Shows to "Newsertainment," but I think we'll end up right back where we are - a dog staring at a calculus problem.

As I wrote above: "Linear thinking meets a fork in the road. Windows has improved on itself over the years by adding new features and retaining the successful ones (ie: The Start button, the Taskbar, desktop shortcuts, etc.) They've also learned from their mistakes (the more stable XP replaced ME, the less restrictive 7…

Home I believe.

I see your point. But I think the logic behind it is that if you're not monitoring it to begin with, why the need to see this? That's just my opinion though.
-
Per your request, I added my opinion above.

It's not Joe......and thanks.

Bacon! (Not really.) This is a new feature of the Orion web console...to be.
