IP SLA config disappears after reloading the router with IP SLA Manager version 3.0

I'm running IP SLA Manager version 3.0 and just started configuring some VoIP UDP Jitter tests. I've run into quite a few problems so far but the one that concerns me the most is that the config disappears if a router gets reloaded. I thought that was fixed with version 1.1? So, any clues what I do to fix 3.0?

DGoodale,

Sorry for the delayed reply. This issue will be addressed in the next release. We won't be writing anything to the startup config; however we will periodically check for the responder's status and re-enable it again when necessary. This should occur a few minutes after a router is rebooted.

The operations will be replaced by IP SLAM at the next polling cycle if they were created by IP SLAM.

I'm not sure what you mean by replaced. I noticed the issue because a router that had IP SLA tests configured (by IP SLAM) experienced a power failure and when it came back up it started failing the IP SLA tests. The only way I got it to quit failing the tests was to delete the tests in IP SLAM and recreate them. It doesn't seem like IP SLAM was doing anything about fixing it.

I'd open a ticket on that one. IP SLAM should be replacing any config it created.

I have a ticket open for this but it's in the developer's hands now. I had a router lose power and reload and I can easily see what the problem is. Orion forgets to replace the line "ip sla monitor responder" so the router doesn't respond to any if the other routers trying to test against it. I'm also getting random duplicate tests setup that I'm not sure what the cause is.
