Orion Maps

Question

I have created a few site maps which I now want to share with some users (non admin) how do I provide the permissions as I am the owner of the maps?

If you're the Admin of the Orion system you can add the map as a widget to any dashboard. Those users who have access to that dashboard can then access the full-screen version of that map.

Alternatively, when viewing the map outside the editor you will find a 'share' button. When clicked, it will copy that maps shareable URL to your clipboard. You can then send that URL to those people you'd like to have access to that map via email, IM, helpdesk ticket, etc. It will then be added to the list of maps they have access to under 'My Dashboards > Home > Orion Maps'.

Quick correction - the map name will not automatically get added to the users list of available maps upon sharing it with them. However, as indicated above they will certainly be able to view the map as needed. Beyond what @aLTeReGo has stated above, many people often use the Custom Table widget, or the User Links widgets to provide a widget which has a link to multiple maps the non-admin users may need access too.
