import values for custom properties

Question

I know how to import values via excel spreadsheet for custom properties manually. is there a way for solarwinds to automate it?

like if I dump the spreadsheet it in a specific location, can i have solarwinds sweep that location and import the values?

CBA to rewrite the whole thing, and mine's not all that either, but if you replace most of 42-64 with something like:

$propstoupdate = @{ Name = "$($item.Name1)"; Name2 = "$($item.Name2)"; Name3 = $($item.Name3)}

$uri | Set-SwisObject $swis -Properties $propstoupdate

You'll save like x-1 calls per object, where x is amount of properties to update, which should be pretty decent for a tweak

this is great. I will begin testing but if the code is rewritten to streamline i will work on that later on.

I was using this as version 2020.2.6 had a bug and couldn't use the GUI to upload the CP's. Really didn't care about the speed as it runs on our automation server which sits there full time syncing Orion with our other tools. If you rewrite it to run faster please upload the code used.
