We want to use Storage Profiler to monitor LUN's traffice and I/O on SAN. Will it has affect on system performance after running Storage Profiler?(Profiler Server & Profiler Agent)
What kind of impact are we talking about exactly? The only communication to the SAN is from the SMI-S provider provided by the SAN array manufacturer. So, any impact there would depend on the SMI-S provider software. Impact on the amount of CPU the Profiler Server or Profiler Agent would be using is highly dependent on the amount of data you're collecting.
