How this SAM monitors differes to HP OM monitoring using an active agent ?

I am using HP OM for server monitoring and NNM for Network device monitoring.

Will SAM will do both the work done by above two HP tools ?

The combination of Network Performance Monitor and Server & Application Monitor should replace NNM and HPOM functionality.
