Re-trigger email alert when state changes from Warning to Critical

I have a disk space monitor application that triggers a Warning state at a certain MB level and then a Critical when it drops below another value. The alert is setup to send an email and includes the component states (Warning or Critical). I do not seem to get an email when the state changes from Warning to Critical. I'm thinking it may be due to the Reset Condition = Reset when no longer true?

I copied the alert properties below. I would like to get an email if the state changes from Warning to Critical without creating a separate alert (if that's possible)

Type of Property to monitor

Component

Enabled(On/Off):ON

Evaluation Frequency of alert: Every minute

Severity of alert: Critical

Alert Custom Properties: (1)

Alert Limitation Category

No Limitation

Trigger Condition:The actual trigger condition:
All child conditions must be satisfied (AND)
Node - Status - is not equal to - Down
Application Alerting Properties - Application Name - contains - Disk Space Monitor
At least one child condition must be satisfied (OR)
Component - Status - is equal to - Critical
Component - Status - is equal to - Warning

Reset Condition: When the trigger condition is no longer true

Time of Day schedule: Alert is always enabled

Trigger Action:

Escalation Level 1

1. Email - Disk Space Alert

Reset Action:

1. Email - Disk Space Alert (Closed)

Almost four years later, this is still true. I just had a user ask why they didn't get another alert when their metric exceeded the Critical threshold (they did get the Warning alert). I've seen several good ideas/feature requests submitted to have SW solve this, with plenty of up votes. Seems like such feature should be built-in to the basic alerting functionality, rather than administrators having to work around it with separate alerts, custom SQL-query alerts, etc.

Same here - users want to know why an alert doesn't re-notify when the severity increases. If I do separate alerts as aLTeReGo suggested, they wonder why they're getting multiple alerts.

I was going to build a complicated alert scheme based on the "SAM Warning" and "SAM Critical" events, but those events don't seem to be an option for Application-based alerts. There also seems to be no event for a component going into warning or critical status.
