I tried adding two APM templates to ICMP only hosts today, and although all the TCP port monitors show a status of "up" the application is still in an unknown state. I've tried two different hosts and two separate APM templates. Any ideas why?
That's weird. Are there any errors in your log file (C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SolarWinds\Orion\APM.BusinessLayer.log)?

There are errors, but I'm not really sure what they mean. Take a look (see attached)
Weird. The code expects a stored procedure in the database (apm_AddComponentStatusEvent) to take a parameter that it doesn't take. It looks like the stored procedure is out of sync with the code.
Try running Config Wziard again (the database part). That should update the stored procedure with the correct version.

As always Josh, you were right. I ran the configuration wizard and the issue resolved itself. Thanks again for your help.
