Make a template based on AppInsight SQL

Question

All i want is the All Databases monitor nothing else.  There seems to be no way to edit this template, so how to I make my own template to have this functionality?  Seems VERY stupid to have to use 50 licenses to just to monitor a handful of databases on a server.  Everything else in the app insight i find useless.

You can't. The template is locked up and yes, it is worthless which is why you create a Basic SQL services template and go with that.

The SQL AppInsight WMI counters are noise machines. My DBAs need real alerts, not canned WMI noise with no legitimacy.
