Possible to add monitor for iSCSI disconnects or errors?

We have some Hyper-V servers that use iSCSI volumes and have had an issue when the server reboots after patching or maintenance, the connection is not re-established.

We would like to be able to have SAM send us an alert if an iSCSI connction drops or fails for whatever reason. Is this possible?

We have 3 scripts we use for iSCSI monitoring:

#1 - iSCSI Target Count:- Checks that the number of iSCSI targets are even. If not, the targets are not set up correctly.

Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Force

You could create event log component monitors for the iSCSI event IDs found in the logs.

I'm pretty sure that the Virtualization Manager can monitor and alert on iSCSI disconnects on Hyper-V hosts.
