would like to know if any one is using LEM with distributed architecture. We would like to load balance the existing load on single virtual LEM server and put 2 or more LEM servers and interconnect them for centrelized reporting.

What's the main reason you are looking to distribute the load?
it seems existing load on the LEM virtual machine is too much. when I log into console, it takes so long to load fully and switch between menu.
console performance increased when i stopped sending logs from my 2 firewalls.
it would be good if we can segregate functions into different VMs, like database, application/processing etc...

but it is best to have the support team assess if this is really necessary. So, the first step would be to open a support ticket.
If you want to offload the Syslog processing, this is again very much possible (see the section on using detached syslog servers towards the end of the document)
