SQL Server HA on Standard Edition

Dear Thwack,

We have created cluster based SQL Server HA on Standard Edition of SQL Server 2019. We have created two different AG, one for ORION and another for NetFlow, and both DB are able to accessible by two different listener IPs.

But, while I have checked DB Manager, I found something mismatch. And my DBA also confirm that there is OK from their end, and even they have not enable another secondary Server. Not even in read only mode yet, then how can I able to see two replica.

Hi @variya78,

It seems to be related with a MIcrosoft license limitation. SQL Server standard only allows to protect one database:

"⁶ Standard Edition supports basic availability groups. A basic availability group supports two replicas, with one database. For more information about basic availability groups, see Basic Availability Groups."
