Upgrade 10.3.1 to 10.4

I made a Upgrade from 10.3.1 to 10.4. After the Upgrade I get the Message

There was no endpoint listening at net.tcp/<servername>:17777/orion

This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action.

I tried to run the Wizard many times and rebooted the server but nothung helped.

I have the following Installation

Server A:

- NPM Core

- NCM WEB

Server B:

- NPM Poller

- NCM Poller

Server C:

- NCM Core

Hi there,

1. Log in as LOCAL ADMINISTRATOR

2. Run OrionPermissionChecker.exe found in \Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\ - Repair

3. Run Configuration Wizard

If you cannot log in as local administrator then it won't work.

A domain administrator does not and cannot ever have the necessary rights to install the software.

Unfortunately id did not work:

Installed ( Upgrade) 10.4 on the main Server

Website configuration failed:

• Connection to SolarWinds Information Service did not succeed.

Last error: There was no endpoint listening at net.tcp://k3013mgm025sola:17777/SolarWinds/InformationService/Orion/ssl that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details.

Permission Checker > repair > all OK

Configuration Wizard

Website configuration failed:

• Connection to SolarWinds Information Service did not succeed.

Install Upgrade for NCM Web on the same Server

Website configuration failed:

• Connection to SolarWinds Information Service did not succeed.

run Permission Checker > repair > ok

Rerun configuration Wizzard

Open Orion Service Manager on the main Orion server found in All Programs > SolarWinds Orion > Advanced Features

Confirm that all services are running. You might want to shut everything down then start them again after checking the following:

Confirm that the Windows service Message Queueing is started and running

Confirm that the World Wide publishing service is started - restart it

Confirm that any anti virus program is temporarily disabled while running configuration wizard (av's tend to block application connections)

Finally.

When running configuration wizard, provide the SQL "sa" (sysadmin) user and pwd when asked to connect to the SQL db server. After that, use existing users.

I did everything, bid always the same

The Website seems to run (I get the login) but after the login it says, there is no connection to the port 17777. But I can see established connections via netstat -a to port 17777
