Advanced Alerts not linking to resources
jtimes
This is difficult to explain, but here goes:
Have two Advanced Alerts (total) and neither of them are linking to interface detail view from the Orion Network Summary page when you click on the Network Device link in the advanced alert. The Interface view page comes up, but there is an
SQL Open Error: Line 1: Incorrect syntax near 'JOIN'.
error and
An Interface was not selected
error under every resource screen...
The alerts work fine, but we just want to click on the alert and go directly to the interface listed in the alert (like we think it should.) It is like it is not pulling the correct Object resource.
/NetPerfMon/View.asp?View=InterfaceDetails&NetObject=I:
6395
That (6395) does not match the resource ID for the interface that triggered the alert....
My question to the forum is: Does anyone have interface specific advanced alerts (like high utilization) configured that when selected take them to the Interface Details view?

Alert works - Link doesent work...
I have this Problem only with Interfaces and Volumes - Nodes works fine.
I hope for an Bugfix...

I knew I wasn't crazy, thanks Chris...
Last week I opened a support ticket: 2149 on this.

using NPM 8.0.2:
I have this same problem for Interface and Volume alerts under ALL Trigered Alerts section in WebUI. Nodes Work correctly.
It seems the triggered alert only substitues the "N" with an "I" for interfaces and a "V" for volumes when linking and keeps the second value as NodeID, which is wrong. It should be using V:VolumeID and I:InterfaceID. I've created a ticket and still waiting for answer.
I was wondering if anyone else resolved this or have a fix besides riping All Alerts from the views?
Thanks..
