Will an Orion eval license be affected by changing the name of the PC on which the eval software has been installed? Will the eval software continue to function ?
I've changed system names in our production environment and it didn't affect anything. I wouldn't think you would have any problems.
No. Host name doesn't matter for the eval.
Additional note, I would take caution in changing the system name of the DB machine. If you do that you might have to run the config wizard again.
