Custom property in Groups

Is there any way to create custom properties in Groups ?

Currently, custom properties look to only be available for Nodes, Interfaces and Volumes.  On a recent post about what we should see with a future version of SAM, it mentions SAM getting custom properties on possibly the next release.

I would think that this would eventually make its way over to Groups as well.

I found this in the feature request space.  Have you voted for it?
