event id 10009 - DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer x.x.x.x using any of the configured protocols in NPM , any know resolved it? have fix?

I too have had this issue since installing APM and removing it several versions ago. I am told by support that this is a Windows issue. I have followed the stopping and re-starting of RPC with only a temporary break in the DCOM errors. If anyone has successfully corrected this, please chime in.
We are having the same issue running NPM 10.7 / NCM 7.3. The IP address in question isn't even a monitored node in NPM.
I see these too but only when a node actually is down. Orion platform 2014.1.0, SAM 6.1.1 on WS2008r2.
The polling interval is 2 minutes yet somehow I am getting 30 of these events in the four minutes the node is down, amounting to about 8 per minute. Strange.
Having this issue... again... after upgrading to 11.01 this morning. None of the nodes listed even exists when I search for them in Manage Nodes!

We made that change over 4 months ago. It hasn't fixed the problem.
It seems you may be experiencing a new issue in that case. Have you opened a support case yet? I'd be happy to track it down if you have the ticket number.
