APM 4.2 Managed Application Monitors show Status Unmanaged

I am fairly new to using Orion but have worked with other Network/Application monitors in the past.

I have been trying to clean up/Add Application monitors to a bunch of existing servers and for some reason they all show as Unmanaged in the "Manage Assigned Application Monitors" section or APM Settings.

I have tried to see what this means but cannot figure out how to get it configured correctly.
APM License Summary states out of 1500 Allowed Number of Component Monitors I have 374 Available so it should not be a licensing issue.

My question is, What should the status be when the server/application is managed in APM correctly?

Take a look at the application details view, from there you should see a small gold info box. If you hover your mouse above it that should give you some info on what is going on with it.

Applications that are managed properly would ideally be Green showing "up". Applications with problems might contain a yellow yield or red exclamation icon. Applications that are down will show "red". Unknown "gray" status icons are usually improperly managed applications, or there's some polling problem going on in the environment.

I understand the page that shows you why an application monitor is failing but this is on the Manage Assigned Application Monitors page that shows the "Status" of the node to be "Unmanaged" that will not change even if I change it. I see all of the counters for the application as expected It just doesn't make sense that it would show this status.

Also on another note i noticed on this same page it shows the "Node" field as a number instead of the actual node name.

There is something wrong with more columns... Even Application Monitor Template should not display only numbers. You can check oriondemo.solarwinds.com to see how should it look like. I would try reinstalling if it is possible.

Petr is correct. The node and template should not be showing numbers. Something else appears to be wrong. Do you have any additional pollers in your environment, and if so have you upgraded them to APM 4.2 as well?

Actually after a service restart they suddenly started showing up correctly again. Thanks for everyone's help.
