Network Map for Datacenter / NOC

Question

Hello.  We were recently tasked to remove the HPOV map from our helpdesk and replace it with the map I built in Network Atlas.  I think I already know or fear the anwer, but I'd like to have the map show up on a 100 inch screen for our help desk without anything else on the screen.  No events, alerts, thresholds, etc.  Just a big ol' map.

I'd like to know if we can "detatch" the map and having it show up, similar to the HPOV Network displays from the old days before Solarwinds commonly seen in Datacenters, NOCs, and WarGames.

Hello. I do something a bit similar. We have a big map, as the only resource, on a 47'' LCD. Not quite 100'' , but this example will still work. We get rid of all task bars and then in the browser hit F11 to hide the browser bar.  We also have a specific user logged in, whose orion menu bar is empty. Last, we stripped the orion logo and replaced with one of our own that blends with the brown gradient. Works fairly well for us.

Thanks !  That was going to be the follow up.  I can easily customize the bar to display nothing, which would work.  I guess now I just have to find a large North America map similar to the one that comes with Atlas.  Are there any public domain maps available?  When I resize it, the icons look quite bad, they don't really scale all that well.  Circles become blocky, etc.

Hi,

This is definitely possible.

You can create a custom view that only includes the map of your choice as the only resource. Small issue is that you will still have the SW management bar along the top which im sure you will want to get rid of.

Im sure that colleauges on this site have a way of getting round that issue even if it is a minor inconvienience.
