HotFix 3 now available

Question

SolarWinds Orion version 8.1 Hotfix 3 Hotfix 3 resolves an issue with adding nodes to Orion usingSNMP v1 or SNMP v2c community strings.  The error receivedis:   'The node xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx does not respond with the community string xxxxx' Hotfix 3 also resolves the issues fixed in Hotfix 2.  See hotfix 2 for details. * Fixes issues with retrieving resource information, including  interfaces, from Extreme Networks ExtremeXOS devices * Fixes issues with retrieving resource lists, including interfaces,  from Foundry devices * Fixes an issue with adding devices containing consecutive zeros  in their IP addresses. Hotfix 3 requires Orion version 8.1. To install this hotfix, run Orion8.1Hotfix3.exe The following file, using the default installation path, isupdated during the execution of the hotfix:C:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Orion\orionnetperfmon.exe  The Hotfix can be downloaded here:

Woo!  Just today I was trying to add some HP Jetdirects and they would not talk to Orion no matter what settings I had tried.  I'm glad I happened to check here for this hotfix.  Any chance there is a mailing list for customers wanting the latest announcements/hotfixes???  -Scott
