Possible to add to Tool Tip Text?

Has anyone figured out a way to get more out of the Tool Tip Text feature for the nodes in the maps?

This is the little window that pops up when you mouse hover over an icon.

I want to try to add some custom poller data or other node data to it since I can't get custom poller data into the device labels.

I tried that but no go.

When I open that page and put in something different and submit and then check the stuff in the node popup boxes it still shows the default stuff. I even stopped/started IIS, cleared the Web Cache, etc.

I am running 8.5.1 SP3

Interesting.... I just tried this on our other Orion server and it worked!

Darn, now I have to troubleshoot why it isn't working on this one. Guess I will have to open 'another' ticket with tech support.

I wonder if it's the custom pollers that aren't working. I'm running the same version as you and mine works, but I don't have any custom pollers.

You can edit the registry directly if the tooltip box does not save your settings.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolarWinds.Net\Orion Network Performance Monitor\Settings

Create these 2 keys if they are not already there.
